Every One should read this one. PRICELESS (Long but worth it)

I had a customer come in with her phone. It would not turn on or do anything without a charger being plugged into it. And when it would turn on it would constantly vibrate. No I know what you are all thinking. The customer was really rational and nice. NOT. She was anger that she couldn't have it against her face because it would tickle and shake her face. Now this phone not only had water damage but it was the worst I have seen in years. The corosion was eating away the data port. It was almost completely full of corosion in there to. I asked the customer if it had been wet and without blinking she said yes but it is not my fault. I said well that voids any type of manufactures warranty it may have had. They forget so quickly...

It always amuses me whenever a customer who has a broken phone and needs to use my cordless store phone to make a call and they have to ask me how to use it. Do the radio waves from their cell phones actually fry their brain cells? How do you not know how to use a regular cordless phone?

because...

i cannot get one of my own. emps are not allowed to order one because our stock was diverted to sales channels. supposively it's sold out but yet every customer that i placed orders for have recieved them in 2 days.

VZW support centers in India?

I forgot to post earlier, but I called VZW Indirect Support at work today and couldn't understand anything out of this guy's mouth. He had a VERY heavy accent (Not trying to sound racist, but he sounded like he was from India). He didn't have a clue what I was asking for and transferred me to another guy who was the same. They finally transferred me again and I got someone who spoke English very well who was able to fix my problem.

Does anyone know if VZW recently outsourced Indirect Support or did I just get the guys who shouldn't be answering the phones? That would be the worst mistake they could make. Look what happened to Sprint. Granted, that wasn't their only problem, but its been a big one!

Delayed Usage Rant

I had this ESC call that this guy was all mad about delayed usage. 2 invoices ago he was given a courtesy credit for "being given wrong info about unbilled minute usage" then the next invoice he was given full credit for overages even though he didn't change his price plan (over a $100.00). This month he had delayed usage from last month another $75.00. Rep offered him half then said they would put the credit request in for the full amount but it was going to go pending. So I guess he didn't like that and wanted to talk to a sup.

This guys bill cycle last month was from 08/21 to 09/20 and he had calls from 09/16 to 09/20 on the 10/20 invoice but he also had those same dates on the last invoice and felt he was being "double billed." I trie...

Get this.

I come in today to find out that some customers I had several months ago got their service cut off after refusing to pay a huge bill. I won't specify the amount but it is outlandishly high.

They claim that they told me they wanted unlimited text and Internet and that it's my fault they got this bill. Apparently they are going to come back with a paper from the provider that I have to sign saying it was my fault it didn't get added on.

First of all, **** them. Secondly, if they got it several months ago maybe they should have noticed something was up once they got huge charges on the first bill. They've had numerous bills to see that someone was racking up charges. Thirdly, I triple even quadruple check to make sure the customer has eve...

Just shouldn't have cell phones. Or bill, in general. A guy just came in here and explained to me that his phone has been cut-off and he needs to pay his bill. Okay, no problem. We just take credit and debit at my store because we don't have a bill-pay kiosk. He tells me that's rediculous and that he only pays cash, but to go ahead and pull his account anyway just to double check the balance. No such phone number exists. I ask how long it's been off and he tells me it's been a few months. I don't understand how people can expect them to keep your number in tact for MONTHS. It's gone, man. Quit whining about it. He storms out saying, "well, they'll just have to fkkn sue me. I can get a phone anywhere else." Good luck with that deposit, buddy....

im out

well everyone i am finally getting out of the wireless industry. its had its up but it has alot of downs. im excited to be moving on and wont miss the rat race that is wireless...i wont have to deal with troubleshooting or "my son didnt download that" or all the other crap anymore. to all you you that are still here, you definatly have more paitence then i do. good luck to everyone. Next monday will be my last day and them im out forever. and to the pain in the Arse customers, good riddens i hate you all... 😈 to the few good customers that are out there, thanks for not making my life a living hell...good luck everyone, peace out 😁

Who to believe?

I called alltel last night to confirm this blackberry update, ofcourse got ahold of TSD since im working 14-15 hours a day here for good ol att i could only get TSD, and i figure they would be the ones to know anyhow...anyways, the representative, best ive spoken with from alltel tells me that he has no idea of this no software update for the MMS abilities for the pearl....then his supervisor tells me he knew about it and its effective today...but all the scoopers say the 27th...and my local store has told me that it shouldve been able to months ago i just havent done it right 😳 friggin idiots they are haha...so any reps/supervisors here know?

Ok, so I'm gonna wing it. From what I can tell, episode 6 was never completed, but was supposed to be Bob vs. The Utility Company. I believe this will be the first Bob story in over 2 years (I could be wrong, I really didn't look)

Water Damage

Ive been at work for an 1 and 30 minutes. Just had the second customer come in with water damage to their phone and try and tell me they never got it wet. It voids the warranty don't get pissed off at me because you sweat thru your pants. The red sticker indicates you are a fu#kin liar. Go away. Thats what insurance is for which I explain to everyone so eat sh!t.

Idiot Co-Worker

Ugh... So I am forced to work with this man-pig who does nothing all day and has his girlfriend and other random idiot friends stop into the store so he has to do nothing. Anywho, last week his idiot girlfriend came in and was being a whiny little b**ch. I'm not someone who is offended easily but others aren't like me so when you're talking trash about single mothers and abortions, people might become a teensy bit pissed off. I mentioned something to him regarding this, and he just grunted it off.
