love it when a customer utters this phrase....

well lets start with why i should buy from you instead of WalMart.

😈 👿 😈 👿 😈 👿 😈 👿 😈 👿

ok..at least they gave me the opportunity to address the issue instead of just getting the phone there...being told the activation fee is waived, they have unlimited texting, unlimited internet......and guess what...they don't

It is all on their bill...then they go to walmart....lo and behold....they can do NOTHING!!! and send you to ME!

Then i cannot always fix their screw up....just depends...

That is why you should buy from me!!! And i am nicer....

Really...would you rather pay maybe $20 more for a phone in the first place or end up the hundreds on your bill?...

Software can hold drivers' cell-phone calls

NEW YORK (AP) -- When David Teater's 12-year-old son, Joe, was killed in 2004 by a driver who was talking on a cell phone, he tried to cut back on his own habit of driving and talking. It turned out to be very difficult.

"You have to remember to turn the phone off ... which you never remember to do. Or you have to ignore a ringing phone, which is incredibly hard," Teater said. "We've been conditioned our entire lives to answer ringing phones."

Teater became an advocate for curbing what he calls "driving while distracted," and now, he's part of a company with a technology that can help.

Aegis Mobility, a Canadian software company, announced Monday that it has developed software called DriveAssistT that will detect whether a cell phon...

No thanks, I was just checking...

So a lady comes in with questions about her account, adding text, and upgrading her phone. After about 20 minutes of explaining everything I get the, "Well thank you but I think I'm just going to go across town to the Corporate Store."
If you trust the Corporate Store so much, why didn't you badger them with all your questions instead of me?

Make sure your customer is far enough away...

Before saying something rude to yourself.

I just had a customer come up to my kiosk and was walking around looking at the phones. I said "How can I help you sir?" He then said "oh I'm just looking. I have a phone that I'm very happy with." I then kind of turned back to my computer screen and said to myself "then why the hell are you even looking?" Apparently he must have heard me cause he got very angry and asked to see my manager. I told him I was the manager then he just stormed away.

Woops 😕

The joys of being the only one on shift.

Our part-timer is on maternity leave so the manager and I rotate shift days. This unfortunately means that there is often only 1 person in the store at any given time, especially on the weekends.

Generally, this isn't a bad thing, but today I had customers lined up when I opened, and finally finished processing the last sale at 2:30. Most of our customers understand that we are busy and that we'll get to them as soon as possible.

Then you get the other kind of customer.

This lady comes in and since I'm waiting on a credit app to go through, I ask her if she has any questions I could answer. She says she is here to upgrade her phone. I load up her account on another computer, and tell her she is eligible, and I will be with her a...

My stomach just sank

I just had a call from a customer whom I sold an aircard to yesterday. Very friendly people yesterday, slightly upset today...
They live an hour and a half away in some tiny little town on the edge of the state and after getting their aircard home, it doesnt work...probably the computer or the people...I don't know how they could mess it up, it was a simple plug and go, no software USB device but the lady calls me and says she's spent 3 hours on the phone with tech support this morning and they told her to bring it back to me. She asks me "Can I still cancel the contract? cuz we're gonna bring it back today".....with an hour and a half drive that puts her here exactly at the time I close....Im willing to DOA her divice but I hope I can talk...

No I don't thats why I pay insurance

Why do people find it so hard to believe when they put insurance on a phone they still have to pay a deductible? They seem to think just because they pay insurance they are automatically entitled to a new phone.
When you go to the doctor, you pay a deductible. When you get into a car accident, you pay a deductible. Why would phone insurance be different?

It's okay to do drugs and go to work...

I keep hearing people say stupid things like, "You can't work well when you're high.", and "It messes with your performance."

I do drugs pretty much every single day. It doesn't mess with me at all. In fact, in the location I manage, I encourage some minor drug use, because it relaxes my employees, and helps them to sell more. Sales are stressful, and it takes the edge off.

I've had my best days selling when I had some Vicodin in me, or maybe a few beers.

So this is what gets me:

I had this customer that I was selling a phone, and they got MAD at me, because they noticed I was high.

She said, "Young man, you smell like CANNIBIS!! And I said, "Yes, I do."

And apparently she's going to report me. This is so crazy

Prepare for the "Storm"!!!

I can't wait until that is released and I can start selling it. That's such a hot looking Blackberry. It makes me want to pay my ETF's to AT&T so I can get one. I just hope it lives up to the hype.
