Every one Speaks Spanish Right?????????

One thing I never could get my head around was what was up with all the spanish AT&T, VZW and Sprint POP in shops out side of a spanish market.

When I worked for the Shack we would get the one or two spanish people but not much in my store.

Yea since we all know every one in the USA speaks spanish now it seems the USA must be part of Mexico right? Or so it seems?

I started geting a bit nervous when Prepaid and postpaid POP started comeing to the store in Spanish. And the sad part is they wanted us to use it and no one in the store speaks spanish!

Not to mention I worked in a store way up north near Canada. Most of the customers we got were French Canadian in addition to the normal americans. Not many spanish people maybe one o...

Oops...

So a couple weeks ago, I had a customer come in with her son who had a broken phone. His line was eligible for renewal/upgrade, and I informed her of it. She decided instead, she wanted a used phone so she didn't have to sign a new service agreement. She wasn't happy with what used phones we had in stock at our store, so I called a corporate store to see what phones they had. I gave her a list of the phones and prices. She asked what time the closed. I wasn't sure, so I asked my co-worker, who had been there the day before. She said 9pm, so that's what I told the customer. Last week, we started getting rude phone calls from a person who wanted to speak with our manager. We informed her that he is in and out of our store, and that she can eit...

how many new acts and upgrades do you do a month?

i was wondering how busy everyones stores are. our store is kind of busy and i do about 50 or 60 new adds a month and probably 50 to 60 upgrades as well. what do you guys do on a monthly basis?

Customer and non-payment on account...

I work prepaid.. so if a customer doesn't make the next month's payment, service gets cut off.

Hence, pre-paid~! 😁

My fav. is when a customer calls in and I see the due date and its like 2/3 weeks past due, phones disconnected. So the calls automatically get routed to us to take a payment.

Well I start probing..acting stupid as if I don't know what's going on. I ask the customer, "how long has this been going on?"

Custy: Well its been happening for like a week.

Well gee... I wonder what would be wrong with my phone if I hadnt made a payment, and all my dialed calls get routed to customer service..

Uggghhh

So this guy just brought in a TDMA phone that he bought in 2002. He wants us to give him his money back for it because he never activated it! He thought I was pulling his chain when I said that I could recycle it and that there was no way to even activate it anymore. Stupid Mondays.

What grinds my gears

what really grinds my gears is when people want to save all these dollars by buying phones from the internet or wholesale warehouses and then come into my store and b*tch and complain that their phone is messed up and want a new one.

C: My phone is broke

Me: Ok, not a problem, did you buy it here?

C: naw i got it from Brandsmart

Me: well take your cheap @$$ back there and when you want to buy a good phone from me, take my card and let me know (this is all said in my head, it usually follows with, well unfortunately i can't insure that phone since it came from a 3rd party source)

is always leaving me broke and the sad part is i dont even use my phone much my bill is always 200 and up......ca somebody explain to me im ready to just cancel and pay the etf and go with some other carrier im a the point were i can pay 200+ a month

eww.

ok, so I think i'm going to vomit. A customer walks in with her 2 year old daughter who is already screaming and crying (of course). She wants to change her number from one market to another and it's on a pre-paid so I have to go through this big ordeal with customer service and it takes forever.... to make a long story short. Little brat is screaming and crying but finally stops to **** her pants and then proceeds to scoot around on the floor until the poop actually comes through the pants... and onto my sales floor. I've never in my life been so pi$$ed off and disgusted at the same time.

M: what are you looking to use on the phone?
C: GPS, I dont want to pay any extra!
M: Well sir all of the phones that are capable of integrated GPS require you to have an internet connection.
C: Well these phones that we have are garbage, I have been inside or around 3 different at&t stores and dont have service! See im in here right now and i dont even have full bars!!!

just for future reference the stores are not composed of the service towers, and my signal is fine but it could be your water/physically damaged phone! đŸ¤Ŗ

Sup: "hey it sounds like your not even trying on your calls, I've been monitoring you!"

Me: "oh yea..." ( like I give a shiit about the company )

and the kicker.. I was helping a customer retrieve the voicemail password. So he starts asking all these questions, how to set it up, what password do I use, how long can my password be, etc, etc.. all the while, while Iam typing this thread.. and he hears me typing...and Iam barely even paying attention..towards the end of the call he says:

" It sounds like your doing something "else" and your not paying attention.. well thanks for your help!" (well of course I was too busy typing this thread, and couldn't concentrate cause of your babbling..)

That was funny... đŸ¤Ŗ

Karma is a bit of a mother...

Wow. Some lady just came in to my store yelling and screaming at me because of a huge bill that was her fault (loads of internet use and way over minutes). I offered what solutions I could. She continued to scream until she left.

She hopped on a little minibike/moped looking thing with no helmet and ran into a truck that was backing out of a parking space. I don't feel too back laughing at her because she is walking around and doesn't seem to be hurt, but she effed up her little bike pretty bad. The front wheel is hanging funny and the handle bar is all bent up from when it fell over.

Yes sir, write that letter. Write a big nasty one to them. Admit to yet another group of human beings that you did not know Mexico was not part of the United States, so you felt you were "entitled" (Yeah, he used that term to me) to a credit and free roaming service in Mexico for the rest of your contract. You're lucky I even offered to 20% off the charges, but no, you want to be greedy.




I really hate stupid people.
