I hate when customers call in and all of a sudden this is the 1st time they have looked at there bill, and state "I just pay it i dont look at it" how in the hell do you pay your bill and not realize you have a 300.00 bill every month and then ALL OF A SUDDEN you call in because you use these words in the same phrase, never look at my bill this is the first month and as well as financial struggles, and expect me to believe this, because now you want a credit for the past several months on your bill because all of a sudden you basically CANT AFFORD IT AND EXPECT ME TO CREDIT IT FOR YOU, blah sometimes people are upsetting.

idk how ppl confuse the names so much its annoying. ill be talk to them and stuff "well with AT&T..." then i get "oh this aint alltell"

Ok so I just had a guy come in and wanted to buy a blue tooth, so I show him what I had and he liked that T8 blue ant. I tell him that the price is 89.99. He tells me that he can get it cheaper and wants me to match the price. So i'm thinking he saw it for like 79 bucks or something so I ask him how much he saw it for. He tells me 19.99!! I tell him that I can't do that and asked him where he saw that price at...he tells me he saw it on craigslist! What is wrong with people??? maybe we really do need cleaner water cause something is making people dumber by the day!!

Hi all. I just had a customer come in and said he needed a new battery. I saw it was a Motorola 323i phone, and I knew they had recalled those batteries if they met the specifications. He hands me the phone. The back is popped out like no other, and the flip doesn't even shut all the way. I tried to take the back off, but it wasn't working too well. I asked him to do it for me because I didn't want to break it, but he said he can't ever get it. So I grab a paperclip and get to work. I figure he'd dropped it and the back was stuck on. When I finally get it off, it was the most swollen battery I've ever seen! Like, CRAZY swollen! So anyway, he asked if leaving the phone in the car can cause the battery to do that. me being the skeptic as always when I walked in the door my manager immediately put it in my hands, and I can't put it down, does anyone wanna buy an unlocked iphone?

So this lady came in having a problem with her phone. While my coworker was in the back troubleshooting her problem, she asks me if we have a restroom that she can use. I tell her, "We don't have a public restroom, but Starbucks next door does." She says, "Ok, thanks," Then just sits there. I figure she must not have to go that bad.

My co worker comes back out and talks to her about her phone. As she leaves, she looks back and says, "Oops!" and runs out the door. We are like, "What was that all about?" It wasn't until I saw the chair she was in that I realized she had relieved herself all over it and all over the floor.

About an hour later, she had the nerve TO COME BACK and gripe to us about something else on her phone!

Ok so had a custy come in starts complaining about the fact that his voice mail settings on his phone changed on there own

well ya there was an update that got all the phones ready for tmobile

"well it worked but it wanted it back the way it was"

so he went through and played with **** im surprised he even knew how to get too


well ofcourse when he did that it ****ed up his phone

so now he is in the store bitching to me cause his voicemail is not working right

and is pissed at me

"well the settings on ur phone that u changed where the way they were supposed to be for a reason. When YOU changed the settings again u messed up ur phone."

that was about the time he got pissed off and left

This older couple came in, pissed, because they had about $100.00 worth of extra charges on their bill. I got on the phone with customer care and was breaking down the extra charges piece by piece.

Their lines had each gotten disconnected so of course they had $30.00 worth of reconnect fees, they had about $45.00 worth of airtime overages.

I was writing all this down on a post-it note and then the rep told me there were also subscriptions for program downloads.

She asked me if I would like the names of the programs. Without thinking, I answer "Sure."

She gives me the names and I write them down. After I finish, I look down and it says something like "XXX Hot Girls" and "Sexy Men".

maybe someone should print out a couple of threads and laminate them...they should be required reading while waiting in line.

How may forum members here feel that divesting of Sprint's iDEN wireless network would be a positive initiative on Sprint's part? I started with Sprint in one of their Nextel Communications branded (post merger) retail stores and by sales ratio was 90% CDMA and 10% iDEN. If one of my customers/potentials did not need a rugged phone, GPS/LBS applications or PTT, I steered the person as far away as possible from a Nextel wireless device. Why you may ask? The sound quality of iDEN is definitely not better than CDMA (anyone remember TDMA?) and if you attempted to use a Nextel wireless device outside the iDEN network, you were FUTA royally with pretty much a paperweight in your hand. So, i was looking at the LG Vu and i like it alot but I was told its a crap version of the LG Dare. I was wondering if anyone can tell me about complaints they've heard about the Vu, or anything that might help me make the right decision.

As we all know Best Buy re did there cell phone section.

They did it with the help of a British company called Car Phone Wherehouse (CPW). They are a HUGE chain here and sell a ton of phones from every carrier except Vodafone.


As For Best Buy Mobile

I like the new set up and look. Its nice to have dedicated people working it. The Prices are dirt cheap since they are a crazy HUGE retailer.

However they need to have more knowlage about the phones and service. I was once told that Virgin Mobile was compatible with GSM and that I could buy just a SIM for 10.00 with 5.00 of air time. All of which is wrong.

Every time I have bought something from there its seems the people are tied up with questions or new activation. Best Bu...
