Crazy people and their phone porn
This older couple came in, pissed, because they had about $100.00 worth of extra charges on their bill. I got on the phone with customer care and was breaking down the extra charges piece by piece.
Their lines had each gotten disconnected so of course they had $30.00 worth of reconnect fees, they had about $45.00 worth of airtime overages.
I was writing all this down on a post-it note and then the rep told me there were also subscriptions for program downloads.
She asked me if I would like the names of the programs. Without thinking, I answer "Sure."
She gives me the names and I write them down. After I finish, I look down and it says something like "XXX Hot Girls" and "Sexy Men".

Yeah it was the phone gnomes messing with the phone. 👀 They make international calls, send picture messages and download ringtones and games. All while you sleep.

This is always classic when it happens.
A while ago this frumpy lady comes in and says that her sound doesnt work when she plays vidioes. I take her phone first check the videos to see what is up... OMG the first vid is of her and her man... nothing but a big vid of their uglies grinding away.. Thank god the sound didnt work. I check the settings turn on the sound. Hand the phone back to her and tell her it should work now.
SHE SAYS CAN YOU PLAY A VID AND CHECK IT FOR ME.... i say um mam you may want to wait till later. SHE TURNS 10 shades of red and runs out.
CLASSIC from that day forward I always check the settings first. it haunted me for a week.

Here at my store, when a customer leaves a phone for us when doing an upgrade, we often use those phones as loaners. Well yesterday I activated a line for a customer and I didnt have the phone they wanted, so I grabbed a loaner phone. I was unaware the phone hadnt been "cleaned" yet. I put the SIM card in, turned it on, and turned away to finish paperwork. When I was done, I started to hand the loaner phone to the customer, when to my horror I noticed the background image was Homer Simpson on his knees for Chief Wiggum. Thinking quickly, I pulled the phone back (psych!) and rushed away to get the reset code. Near disaster.
