Red or Green Pill

My call center is closing Dec. 04. Just another casualty of a recent buyout. Relocate out of state within the company for 10k??? Or take the severance??? My conscience, "Take the money and run." Free at laaaasssstttt, free at laaaaassst. You know the rest. Peace.

overage relief

Reps from other carriers, do you offer overage relief bonus minutes to your customers?

Here at sprint, if you call in, you can actually get buckets of 100 minutes for $5 for your current cycle, it's not a reoccuring charge, just an oh **** package.

You can add up to 500 minutes in any month.

Does AT&T, T-mobile, Verizon etc have similar features to help with pending overages/charges?

I know we don't proactively advertise this and thought perhaps it would be similar, offered but not advertised

I hope this building burns down

I go 10 minutes over on lunch and i get written up...30 minute lunches just aren't long enough...have to email my sup if I have to pee now...I'm 24 years old and I get treated like a effing toddler...I'm so sick of it.

how do you stay motivated

I'm really not motivated anymore.

One of my friends has been doing this longer than me and can just keep talking and talking. I think he is a good salesman.

Its just a burnout that I know everything about these phones and person after person says: I don't need camera,txt or internet blah blah blah. I just want to scream, but its freaking awesome you've got to see this because I know there is something in here you'll love. Like the farmer who loves the MyCast weather!

Plus they want us to hit goals and thats just not reality in this economy. Its all what can I do to lower my bill.

I am here to serve the customer but when they don't want to be helped, and the company doesn't care. Its just a beating.

WHY do customers think they can

Get away with commiting fraud...

I have had 13 accounts I have had to submit to our fraud department just today...

These people must know they will be caught, so why bother trying?

Maybe it takes a criminal mind to understand these fools because i don't..

So what does one do.....

When a customer walks in, sits on the couch, and starts trying to access the Wi-Fi we don't have? And then stares out the window for ten minutes straight?

Personally, I kind of hope he stays til closing so I can yell, "Crackhead! Get yo ass up off my couch!" Hee hee hee

Causing Confusion

I have beern house sitting for the in laws this week and have completly baffled all mall employees.

My wifes step dad is a formula car driver and they are on vacation. So I have taken the liberty of driving his new ferrari back and forth to the mall this week. Along with wearing his rolex.

I must say that the open mouthed stare I get is priceless.

any sprint reps?

i bought a used phone yesterday and i've been waiting on my sprint rep to swap phones since noon. Customer service can't do anything. Sprint used to have a department I could call, but apparently that has changed. Any ideas?

Restocking fees

Why must we charge them to customers who absolutely hate their phones/ Having issues. I just upgraded a customer into a new phone and told her if she was any problems with her phone that I would help her out and get her into a different one no hassle. Well the next day she comes in with problem (she said she cant hear people whe she is in the car) and another one of my coworkers is helping her. (I'm designated host for today because Sprint is too cheap to hire real ones. So I really cant help her at this moment.) My coworker blows her off and says you want a different phone you pay the restocking fee. Now she just returned the cell phone and is probably going to cancel. There goes my sale. Why can't some people actually try to help out the c...

Seriously? Yep She was serious.....

So, I am working a normal Saturday in po-dunk Indiana and I have a lady come in and tells my boss that her daughter doesn't like her cell phone and she wants a new one. My boss then had to explain to her that since the daughter is still under contract for another year, she would have to buy a phone for full price if she wanted a new one. The lady said she knew, but that the daughter would come in in a little while and buy the phone.

A few hours go by and my boss had already left for the day whenever the daughter came in to buy the phone. I get everything transfered and I hear the daughter tell the mom she forgot to cash her check so she could get the phone. I don't think much of this until the daughter tells me she'll be right back bec...

Warning: CDMA Workshop not functioning, no returns

As you can see below CDMA-WARE, www cdma-ware com]CDMA Service Software / ESN Changer, SPC Unlocker...[/url] doesn't support their product. Just because it seems like it may work with your phone in demo doesn't mean it will. It was ale to read the phone but once I bought the full version it wouldn't write to certain fields. They have it protected so it could only be used on the computer it is installed on so unless they assume I am a cellular technician this is a very harsh policy.

Cust: Thats not good customer service
Me: Well your not a good customer!

Context: Prepayer comes in and wants me to set up everything they bought somewhere else. We charge $10 to do this. Customer flips out and starts yelling "How can you do that, I'm your customer". Above was the final words exchanged before her crackhead @$$ took off (btw walked into a wall on her way out and took a few seconds to find the door).

Absolutly unbelievable!

M: Sure, let me look up the account, get your info and get you all squared up...do you need any kind of accessories or anything today as well?
C: No, you get enough of my money haha
(I look it up, over 300 bucks for the bill due, 215ish past due, I let him know)
C: Why the F is that the bill?
M: Not sure, not being a corporate location I can't see all your billing details, but it looks like you just have a bunch of past due's piling up.
C: I just paid 100 bucks. What the F? That doesn't get credit for anything?
M: Well Yeh, it shows your payment, but you owed more than just 100 bucks...
C:That's BS, I don't get this Sh!t...
M: Alright, well lets do this, we will call up the customer service department ...

i hate my bosses jealous boyfriend

he has to call to make sure shes at work, but when i answer the phone he hangs up. he does this on days that she doesn't even work. its kinda obnoxious. not only that he is a putz.

Question for AT&T Reps....

So I just received my offer from AT&T today... Definatley excited to get out of the indirect channel.

I was reading through the first page of the offer... and was slightly troubled by this wording..

"your annual targeted at-risk compensation will be between XX,XXX and YY,YYY"

In the retail sales channel... there's no commission cap is there? That's just a targeted amount correct?

I tell a customer about 6 different times to go to elitextreme.com...I even say the word ELITE several times...and spell it out for her...at the end she said "so I go to elightxtreme.com? " once again I had to say "ELITE, not ELIGHT"...seriously? Are people REALLY this stupid?

meh.....

I love Mondays.

I didn't get to bed last night till after 2 am because we had a district meeting. They held it from 7:30 to ELEVEN PM in a city two hours from my house. I drove my coworkers, dropped them all off... etc. By the time I got home I was exhausted. â˜šī¸

I woke up this morning sick. Sore throat, stuffy nose, headache, etc. 😕

Now I'm standing in my kiosk wishing for relief from the screaming kids in the play area 200 feet away....

And there's a rather large woman next to my kiosk with a 2-inch thick wad of cash stuffed in her jeans pocket. I'm sitting here hoping some of it falls out... I need money for an oil change 😁
