i had a lady who didnt understand why she couldnt be on paperless billign and we send her a bill each month

This is a business phone.

I work in a call center that processes insurance claims. This is a very common theme amongst some of our calls and I am always amazed when I hear it.

me: Thank you for calling --------. My name is --------. How can I help you

cx: my phone was stolen

me: Sorry to hear that, I'll be happy to assist. (ask all preliminary questions)
When did this happen?

cx: 2 months, AND THIS IS MY BUSINESS PHONE SO YOU NEED TO GET IT OUT FAST!

me: đŸ˜ŗ 😡 đŸ‘ŋ

Why do people think we are so stupid that we think that they will wait 2 months to file a claim for a business phone that is so important and is causing them to miss money? Then they get upset when I have to tell them that since they waited more than 60 days to file their claim, we...

Another post made me think about how badly this annoys the **** out of me....


Customer, yes i need to un suspend my phone from lost/stolen and then change my rate plan and add text msg. package.

Me- ok i can help with that can i have your pass code?

customer- pass code?... what do you mean pass code?

me- by pass code i mean that 4 digit number you use to verify that the acct is yours.

customer- i don't understand.

me- right.... ok well the account is on a lost/stolen suspended state so could you please verify the lat time you added funds to the acct and how much you added?

customer- funds?

me- yes sir.... funds as in that last time you made a payment to the acct?

customer- look lady i dont know what the hell your...

Yesterday, someone screwed up

and a bunch of people from my call center got deleted from the system, including me. This means we no longer have access to the systems we need to pull up customers account. Some agents still have access. The best part is I'm an escalations rep. Most of the reps escalating to me are able to help the customer but the customer insists on talking to me, even though I informed the rep I can only give general info. I get to tell the customer they were better off with the previous rep but now they are speaking to me and they have essentially wasted their time. Today is a good day.

I work in a retail store in a mall. It seems that when I work Sundays all the bitchy people are out and about. Does anyone else ever notice the same thing?

Bitching customers don't bother me, just seems that they all like to come in at once.

I'M A HYBRID.

I was getting burnt out at Customer Service and transferred to retail and it really is trying when I hear about reps cheating the customer out of information that would have benifitted them. đŸ‘ŋ

SO QUIT POINTING FIGURES, I KNOW BOTH SIDES.

WE ALL SUCK JUST A LITTLE BIT.

speaking spanish?

I speak a little bit of spanish.
The store I work in attracts a large number of spanish-speaking customers.
Sometimes they come with a translator, sometimes they dont.
My question is, if they have someone to translate, or if they try and speak a little english, should I use my spanish skills? For some reason, I get all weird and embarrassed-feeling, as if they will laugh if I pronounce something wrong...

What would everybody else do?

patel: who?

me: brisk. Im calling from sprint

patel: ooooo
*she gives the phone to her husband*

patel: hello!!

me: hi! *angry* this is brisk calling from sprint. how you doing today?

patel: who is this?

me: Brisk and im calling from sprint.

patel: where you calling from?

me: *loud sigh* SPRINT!

patel: ooooh....you need to speak to my son.

me: ok sir, thank you. you have a good day!


uuuggghhhh!!! really? i have to repeat myself that many times? i was talking slowly and clearly just to help them out too!

Facebook for business owners in the Cellular Phone and Accessory Market, good?bad? not worth it?

So whats the deal, I keep hearing from business owners that facebook is where it's at for customer base. I have set up a Facebook page for my business, done some minor marketing on Facebook, even gone as far as working with sortprice.com to start a store front in Facebook. I am wondering if it is worth my time.

so im thinking about

trying to work at a core store. i work in a call center right now doing sales, but our commission sucks. its 9 and hour plus 2.50 per sale, no matter what we sell. any core store reps that would kindly share your commission structure/ base pay with me?

To all Customer service Reps

WHY?

Why are some of you are able to do things and some are able not to do things? You are all equal and capabile to do the same exact things right?

For Example: I am an indirect agent. I wait on hold for 5 mins. My computers are down and I just want to do a simple price plan change for a customer. Why is it some of you say we have to transfer you to your indirect support and some of you just do it for me? I mean...really? Can we all just be on the same team, instead of all this grudge with Corp, Indirect, and Customer service?

Me - So, we called you originally to check up on you...blah blah blah...Can I get your number?

Custy - Yeah and I was calling YOU cause I missed a call from this number, and I just like had to know who it was, you know? So basically I just need to know why this call took place, and what it was about, would you know anything about that? Because I was LIKE REALLY confused about it.

Me - Well...as I said before we were calling you ORIGINALLY because...blah blah blah...so can I get your number so we can cover the information?

No, you cannot.

No, you cannot have a Droid for free with no internet package. No.

No, you cannot have 4 free accessories with a free phone.

No, you cannot return a phone after 40 days with no box, charger or instructions.

No, you cannot come here and have your contacts transferred for free when you bought the phone online. Especially since you came in and played with all my phones first.

What are you sick of saying no to?
