speaking spanish?
The store I work in attracts a large number of spanish-speaking customers.
Sometimes they come with a translator, sometimes they dont.
My question is, if they have someone to translate, or if they try and speak a little english, should I use my spanish skills? For some reason, I get all weird and embarrassed-feeling, as if they will laugh if I pronounce something wrong...
What would everybody else do?

To all Customer service Reps
Why are some of you are able to do things and some are able not to do things? You are all equal and capabile to do the same exact things right?
For Example: I am an indirect agent. I wait on hold for 5 mins. My computers are down and I just want to do a simple price plan change for a customer. Why is it some of you say we have to transfer you to your indirect support and some of you just do it for me? I mean...really? Can we all just be on the same team, instead of all this grudge with Corp, Indirect, and Customer service?
