today is not a good day.........

.........for electronics.

the new vznavigator update bricked my blackberry, and all the questions people have for me are about f***ed up phones. warranty issues, phones needing software updates, even an iphone user whose phone locked up. i directed him to the apple store.

at least the custies have slowed to a trickle so i have peace and quiet to restore my bb.

f***ing hate mondays. ๐Ÿ‘ฟ

OMG...ignorant customer!

So this customer has been with us for a long time, quite honestly hasn't paid us much money for the years invested, and calls ALL the time to complain and get credits.
Moving on her point of her call is that she wants a full discount on a handset without signing a commitment, then she wants to cancel, which makes me laugh because if she cancels her options are the same for other companies. Either you pay full price with no contract or you sign a contract for a discount...duh
She states that because she's been with us for so long it proves she will not leave, umm no signing a contract almost proves you will not leave.
So then she's offered a full discount with one year commitment, she will not take it which proves she's not going to stay ...

So Sick

These customers for some reason seem to drop IQ points when they call in. If I answer your question, thats the answer, please do not ask over and over and over..

off to a crazy day

this is odd for a sunday....
Just had a customer come in mad that his daughter broke her phone again for the 4th time in less then a year then procedes to rant and rave about how upset he is that his insurance dropped off the line after this, I'm not to sure but I thought after 2 claims a year the insurance dropped of the line, after listening to this guy rant and rave and yell I asked him calmly to lower his voice so I could find the best solution for him, well that must have not set well as he reached across the counter to grab me threating to beat me up,(I know I'm not a big guy but I did train in MMA), needless to say he was escorted out of the store without getting his repalcemnt phone and he got a 1 way ticket to the local jail withou...

Ever happy to anyone???

It seems like every week I have at least one customer come in with a broken phone that was dropped in water after the first few phones I learned not to grab them as most of them have been dropped in the toilet(yuck), I have even had a couple of customers want to put it back on their line the same day after spending the night drinking at the bar and doing it their, now when a customer brings in broken equipment I like to ask whats going on with the phone before reaching for it.

ok, seriously.....

customers, if i set my phone down on the counter next to me in order to show you an accessory or a phone, it does NOT give you permission to reach across the counter to pick up my personal phone. i am OCD and anal-retentive about my $540 full retail blackberry. don't f*&%ing touch it without my permission. thank you.

Drunky drunk drunk

There is a certain man who always comes in drunk. That's wonderful thing #1. What's wonderful thing #2, you ask? He only comes in when he has a problem. Oh, goody.

C: Yeah, my phone isn't charging.

He sets the old Samsung on the counter with the charger.

C: I don't know if the charger's broken or what.

Me: Let's see here.

I take the phone and charger to an outlet and plug it in. It doesn't even go in all the way. I look at the charger. It's missing a corner.

Me: Yeah, the charger is broken.

C: What?!?!

Me: The corner is broken off.

C: That's ridiculous! I better get a loaner phone! (slur slur slur) You better fix it!

Me: Do you have insurance?

C: I don't know, but I better get a loaner phone that's not worth...

Be careful how you complain about your BlackBerry

I work with a large corporate account that uses BlackBerry's. Their IT manager was complaining about problems they have been having with the trackball feature, and had an epic statement:
"I am always clening their balls"
After a brief pause we both burst into laughter!
