my effing awesome idea

Ok, this doesn't apply to GSM phones mind you. Or phones that let you transfer contacts via sd cards for that matter.

I think that when a customer buys a pda/smartphone, the carrier should make the customer sign a separate contract, stating that they WILL have and WILL use some sort of sync/backup program. And the contract will stipulate that if the device crashes, glitches, or is corrupted and the customer DID NOT back up their information, then we get to format their devices with out any resistance period! I mean, if I have to replace your device you are starting over from scratch
anyway.

All day everyday I talk to customers, who's devices crash/corrupt/glitch, and soft reset doesn't work. I follow protocol and request to do fre...

I also got kudus for a difficult call that I filed correctly!

Chargebacks

I have heard that other companies do this to their employees and agents too but USCC will take out money from an employees paycheck if after 3 months a customer does not pay their bill. I just don't understand how this is legal. I understand that it is the sales agents responsibility to set up a new customer with a plan and a phone that will meet their needs but is it the sales agents responsibility to act like the customers parent and call them to tell them to pay their bill?? A lot of customers will sign up and get a phone and a plan just to get the phone. They will receive their bill and just never pay it. Why should I have to pay their bill for them when the account goes into collections and USCC gets their money anyway from garnishments...

This Amazes Me

With all the stupid, useless, off-topic crap that gets posted in this forum, they take down a somewhat educated conversation about immigrants in our store. Granted, there were some "douche" or as PHONESCOOP_LORD likes to say duche calling between posters, but it was still a decent conversation.

OMG HE WONT LEAVE!

i had a cux come in because he recieved at bb replacement in the mail, and we were closing @ 5 today because of the heavy snow, came in @ 4:45 and is still here, now on a business call, as the roads get worse, and to top it off no 4wd! fml

while i know you do have a job to do, dont make that my job to do. I am not her for your disposal. I am here for our customers, so you calling with your lame excuses about your system not working and that is why you could not waive upgrade fee doesn't impress me. thanks for wasting my time with your bs and asking me to do your job for you. you figure it out

Why do....

The people come into the store dressed in fatigues? Just curious.

And for that matter... Why do they act like they're better than people and/or like they know everything?

Just out of curiousity. I have friends in the military who don't act like that, but EVERYTIME I come into contact with some military strangers they've got this.... obnoxious-ness about them.

Customers that are older than dirt.....

just had this cust that was older than dirt call in to cancel his accout. he has had the same phone for over 5yrs. he told me that about the 1st of the year it stopped working and he decided @ that point he didnt want a cell phone anymore ๐Ÿ™„ should b a quick transfer to cancellations right? wrong.... told me on nov 7th he turned 90yrs old AND him and his wife whos is 80 have been married for 60yrs AND he has 27 grandkids AND he was in the korean war(or sumthin) AND its 18 degrees where he is @ AND when he got back from war he ended up in seattle and they had to ship him 2 oklahoma...... ๐Ÿคจ a few min call turned into a 30 min session of this guy blabbing and me goin "uh-huh" over and over again. this is gona b a long day..........

First Customer of the Day

Custoemr comes in they have a broken headset, no problem the corded types at my store have a life time replacement on them so I just go and swap it out.
Our head sets come as 3.5mm standard with the 2.5mm adapter piece in each box, i double check to make sure those pieces are there before selling the item.
Customer leaves the store, I get a phone call about 15mins later, she got home the headset wont plug into her phone, turns out her phone is 2.5mm not a problem tell her to use the adapter in the box to make it the proper size, she acts all surprised and tells me she had no idea thats what that piece was for. Ok
Customer calls back a few minutes later, she got the stero head set, and tells me that it will plug into her phone but only ...

why am i getting all the jerk customers today?

one guy was talking **** about our coverage, our phones, etc. i'm thinking, great, then you don't have to buy from us. go the f**k away. ๐Ÿ‘ฟ

he's practically yelling at me, then asks me to get out the droid so he can play with it. i'm like, uh no. ๐Ÿคจ

why on earth would i get out a $600+ phone so he can play with it? do i look like an entertainer? you've already made it clear that you aren't buying from me. you have just eliminated yourself from my potential customer list. ๐Ÿ˜›

so i tell him that our manager had to borrow our demo phone and that he has stepped away from our kiosk, all the while this guy is snapping and cussing at me. shame i didn't get a text off to security befo...

Kharma QA1 tethering, question

I just attempted to tether the Kharma qa1 for ATT. I d'led Comm. Manager 7.0, then did motorola phone tools using the cd, then d'led the update (which the software said it was up-to-date). No luck either way. Phone was in USB Communication mode, not media Sync or Data Sync.

Specs: Brand new Windows 7 32-bit OS laptop.

Has anyone gotten this phone to tether, ever?

I hate telling people "No go ahead, take your time" when I should tell them they should have been prepared from the begining. Have your pen ready to write down your conf# when you are calling to make a payment if ever friggin time you request it!!!! ๐Ÿ˜ก


I should be telling them to hurry the HE11 up, i have six minutes to complete your call!
