Blackberry Outages EEERRRRR!

I am getting so sick of RIM not having their SH** together. Data has been completely down since 4pm. Just started to comeback BB Browser is still out, as is email. Gmail, Slacker, and facebook are finally back. That was the longest 4 1/2 hours without customers ever!

holiday credits

I never post much but, today I had a call that I thought was amusing.
Customer called in to inquire why his bill was higher. We reviewed an equipment charge which he then remembered. Then...
C: well can I have credit because of the holidays?
Me: I'm sorry sir we're not issuing holiday credits this year.
C: I bet if you ask a supervisor they will have you issue a credit.
Me: Sir if I were to ask my supervisor if I can issue a holiday credit he would probably write me up for humoring the thought.
C: it's a shame you guys don't issue credits for the holidays.
Me: ????

I just wanted all customers to know

that when you call us, and say stupid things, we put you on mute, and laugh at you. when you go on your rants about how much you hate us, and won't let us get a word in, we also put you mute, and rant about how much you suck.

that is all.

"Merry Christmas" "Happy Holidays"

"Merry Christmas" "Happy Holidays"

I hear this 9999 times a day everywher i go. People are so friendly and nice and joyful...Why can't this be all year round? 2 Weeks from now the same person screaming "Merry Christmas" "Happy Holidays" will be the rudest motherfu*&^r around. This shows how disgusting the human race is (not fellow shop talkers of course). I cry silently inside and bleed pity for these people. May god/whoever have mercy on their souls.

"Merry Christmas" "Happy Holidays"!!!!!

Only at my company!

Only during the holidays and only at my company could a non-customer service rep (Billing research and account maintenance) deal with this customer.
Legend:
Customer=Custy
Me=Agent
()=customer speaking over me

Custy: I want to dispute that I didn't get my deposit.

Agent: I'd be more than happy to help you with that, are you talking about Phone number ***-***-****?

Custy: No, the one I just bought last week!

Agent: Oh, well this shows that the phone line is still active. ๐Ÿคจ

Custy: No it's not. I turned it off within an hour.

Agent: Are you sure miss? Because I show that the phone line is active. ๐Ÿ˜•

Custy: Positive. I turned the phone off and left it on the counter for the man to take back, now I want my depos...

Quarters... Really?

I had a gentleman come to the kiosk to pay his bill today. A regular occurrence with this gentleman. He is always over his spending limit and refuses to change his plan. Anyways I asked how much he wanted to pay and he said 80.00. Then he handed me a bag of quarters. I had to ask if he was serious. It wasnt like rolled quarters. No, it was a bag of loose quarters. Who seriously pays an 80.00 bill in cash with quarters?

from an insurance cs agent to all store reps.

I realize that you receive a lot of people who have no idea about their their insurance coverage. I ask that when they come in to your stores that you simply refer them to whoever processes ins claims for your carrier. It really helps that you do not give them information that is out of date or totally incorrect. I understand that you would rather sell them a new phone, however we receive the flak when you tell them that the deductible for their phone is $20.00 when the lowest deductible on the plan is $35.00 and they have a phone that is on the high end of the deductible bracket. I make it a point not to tell customers what your policies are because I do not know and I always refer them to the carrier for carrier related procedures. I do no...

customer care strikes again

I had a customers kid come in saying that his phone wasnt working, it was say "sim unregistered". I pulled up the account and saw that the sim did not match. I pulled up the notes and it said that earlier in the day an upgrade was performed on his number by accident. The sim was changed and then it was reversed and that the customer would need a new sim. We called customer "care" to see about getting the customer a credit for the sim card that I was about to sell him. The rep refused to give them a credit. Told me that I should give the sim card to the customer for free. I told her I shouldnt give them a card for free. I didnt screw up the account and change the sim card. Theres no reason the cost should come out of my bosses pocket...

What do you mean "required data"?

I mean that you have to have a data package to activate a smartphone. This is like going to best buy and buying the top of the line 60" TV and then hooking up bunny ears to it!!

stupid calls

I work for a phn insurance company in tech support. I had this customer call because they broke there charger. Told her that since she had broke the charger pulling it out of the wall socket and the plugges came off we couldn't replace the charger. After fighting with me for 20 min. she asked if we would replace it if she glued the charger back together!!! Told her that the charger would still be broken and it still wouldn't be covered. She had also had phn and charger for almost a year! ๐Ÿ™„
