I love when custys...

Bring in a 2,3,4 year old phone and complain because it doesnt work - that we had to order them a refurb phone and not a brand new one - and when I try to upgrade them to a "brand new" phone they wont renew because they dont want those crappy phones - that they will switch - and when I explain if they do it'll be the SAME THING and that we dont make the phones - i.e. its a SAMSUNG not a SPRINT so if you dont like the manufacturer GOOD LUCK going somewhere else where your going to get the same thing done! 👿

ESPECIALLY THOSE GOOD FOR NOTHING CUSTOMER SERVICE REPS WHO HAVE TO LOOK EVERYTHING UP BEFORE SAYING ANYTHING CUZ THEY ARE TECHNICALLY CHALLANGED... BY THE WAY... ALL YOU HAVE TO HAVE TO BE A SERVICE REP IS A GED... WHICH MEANS HALF OF THEM ARE CLOSE TO BEING RETARDED... THE OTHER HALF ARE GOOD AND DO WHAT THEY SUPPOSE TO DO... alrighty then

so I work for ATT, and my first customer this morning comes in with a list in his hand. His questions is this:

cu: How do you go about changing your number?

me: Who is your carrier now?

cu: Verizon

me: So your thinking of moving over to ATT? Porting a number over to our network is not difficult at all.

cu: no, I just want to change my number, the companies keep calling me. Is changing your number different with different companies?

me: Well, for ATT it is a simple procedure, but as far as Verizon, I'm not sure. Maybe try a Verizon store, or call your customer service number.

cu: Well do you have some Samsung phones

me: Yes, we carry many samsung phones.

(He pulls out a list)

me: Are you thinking of comi...

repeat D Bag cust

So I had the pleasure of having the same D Bag cust twice this week... the first time I spent 8 mins trying to get his phone number. My bad!( douche was killing my AHT on the LAST day of the month...) I should have realized he had nothing better to do. Got him again tonight and it was the same M.O. He refuses to give his number unless I promise that I will be able to give him what he wants, cuz he is afraid I will "screw up" his account. He wants free data and text on 5 lines. He got all pissy the first time I talked to him cuz I was on the last 30 mins of a 13 hr shift and wasn't acting like I cared ( I didn't actually care..was worried about AHT lol)When I got him again tonight and I told him I was gonna get him a manager since he refused ...

Twilight Zone

I had a call today. A guy had taken his phone into the store to get it covered under warranty. The store had sent it off but there were no notes in the insurance file. The guy was really upset because he got a notification that the phone would not be covered under warranty. He wanted to know why it wasn't covered. Well there were no notes so I had no idea why it was covered. I told him that we check for physical damage and water damage. He told me he only had the phone 10 days so there was "no way" it could be damaged. I recorded the information he was given and he was spouting about how he has been a customer for 10 years and he deserves better treatment. I tried to remain fairly quite and from time to time would add in a comment l...

the customer customer service agent

Thank you for being such a good sport on the phone the previous agent gave me a migrain headache, had i not been 2 days without a cigarette i might have found humor in her transfering me to the infinite "please hold" loop you send people when they call in for help, but thank you for picking up that she devil's slack and helping me out.

New call monitoring standards SUCK!

my job is constantly changing standards to keep people from bonus, and it's really starting to piss me off! 👿

i miss the old method of call monitoring, because i would get 100%

now this new BS system says we have to be the customers' best friend and conversate with them and bring up aht, or else you get marked off.
