Restocking fee..

Why can't people understand, if you turn on the device and mess with it, that means the device has now been USED? I'm glad you will be charged a restocking fee, because you should have tried out the device at a store before purchasing. I do not and will not show any sympathy towards you because why should our company take a loss on your behalf?

ACS reps

I wish they would all have an aneurysm at the same time. WORTHLESS!! How does a company think that they are going to make/save money on people that don't give a crap? Bunch of blind transferring, banana eating, bean headed, anti policy yahoos.

If I have offended any acs reps, GOOD!!

Have you guys ever had to call another department of your own company and they treated you worse them most of the cx's? Our Problems resolution center here at assurion makes me want to hang myself with the dang headset cord... They have that attitude that makes you wanna jump off a cliff.

People calling at work.

They all should be fired because they are taking personal business while at work. I hate when they put me on hold to ring up a customer or answer a call.

Annoying Neighbors

How do you guys put up with it?

I recently got moved next to this woman at work. All she talks about is Reality TV shows and MTV, its F 😲 king annoying. theres another person who sits on the other side of her but apparently i wear a sign on my forehead that says, please tell me stupid S 😲 t. I don't want to create a "Hostile" work endowment so i just nod with whatever she says.

any advise?

Do you ever change your voice when talking to customers?

once in a while, i'll try to change my voice on a random call.

like talk with an accent, or sound really preppy, sad, high pitched, etc.

Customers from California

They think they are so entitled. They cry and whine about everything. They sign contracts and don't think they need to uphold their part of the bargain. They say "I'm from California, I shouldn't have to wait 2 days to get my phone. Somebody should deliver it to me personally no matter if I'm at the address or not. Yes I agreed to a 2 year agreement, but I'm from Cali and we never do what we agree to do.". Then all I hear is "whaaaaaaaaa, whaaaaaaaaa, whaaaaaaa!". Dr. Dre said California knows how to party. I know they sure can b**ch and moan better then the rest of the country.

ATT Employees: How does ATT handle cancelling w/o returning phone?

I work for T-Mobile and I was wondering how ATT handles customers that come in and start service, get a discount and then cancel within the "remorse" period. I know T-Mobile doesn't have any clauses about paying the difference between the 2yr discount and the full cost of the phone.

Call Center VS. Retail Location

I work at an internal call center for VZW customer care (not a vendor) and was just wondering if anyone else in a call center wherever notices the huge amount of mistakes that retail locations and indirect locations make on customers accounts. I think i spend half of my day listening to reps at retail locations ask me to issue credits for their screw ups (which they have full capability to correct) or to activate a cell phone after a failed ESN change..i mean for crying out loud you guys have infomanager USE IT! Another prime scenario from today, store activated a BlackBerry 9630 Tour to a grandfathered alltel plan with no data package so the customer called in with a 14,000$ bill stating that they went to a store and that "They gave me this...

So, i work for AT&T...

this guy calls in complaining... At the end of his complaint he states "Do I need to put this on You Tube?"

I didnt even have a chance to help him and at the end of the call before he asked for a supervisor I offered to give him what he wants. A stupid $14.99 credit.
