"How do I get a Droid for little or no money?"

How many times have you heard this? I've lost count.

Also: "I don't want the internet package."

"Sir/ma'am, I really don't think the Droid is the phone for you."

If I owned a cell company

If I owned a Nationwide cell phone company (group to turn on by priority):
1. New York, Chicago, Seattle, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Austin
2. DFW, Houston, Miami(area), D.C.
3. Anywhere else

I'm sure with some research I might choose some others but thats off the top of my head.

Anyone agree/disagree have some ideas?

Vent!

I feel bad for the people on phone scoop who are customers, who work outside the wireless industry. When I try to make a post about a phone, it's always ignored.

I feel so unloved!

I called and annoyed the hell out of Cricket customer service.

yesterday i went to the cricket store to buy another broadband card. i go in, and the rep tells me that it is $50+$15 activation fee.

when i get to the register, it was $120. i ask why, and the dude says because i am adding it in the middle of my billing cycle...

i get home, and i feel like i got cheated.

so this morning, i call cricket and for 24 minutes, i explain that i didn't understand why i was told the card is $50 and $15 activation, and got charged an extra $55...she said it was the month in advance for the cell phone part of my bill. i already paid for my November bill on Oct 31, and then i paid another $55 yesterday, and then on Dec 11, another bill is due for my cell phone....

yeah, i know i am suppose to undertand th...

why mr. customer!?

why is it that you insist to stand next to me breathing over my shoulder as I pull up your account and you continue to lean in as if you could read the sized 8 font that the notes are in. you can't read them, it does not say the supervisor from cc said you're entitled to a free phone, and i will not read them out loud for you. please don't stare at me with that blank stare on your face as if you're shocked. ARGH! >_< oh and please go home and shower, the stench is nauseating.

all done 🙂

TMo Retail

So those of you who work for T-Mo retail know about "DCD" and "Mobilizing" and "Balancing Multiple Customers", it's a great model and has great potential to work and increase sales but…when the store does not agree to change as a whole, this creates disruptions in the new culture. People are now "hawking" acts. Instead of supporting your team mates and following DCD they now sit and watch and swoop in when you're not looking. I've lost many-o-acts because of this. I'm sure T-Mo retail emps will understand this….

Blackjack 2, middle button

We give customers a discount for trading in their existing phones, this one customer had a Blackjack 2 and the select button in the middle of the trackwheel/scrolling wheel/navigating wheel is stuck and won't depress or push in.

I've tried taking it apart as much as I can, but can't seem to find a way other than brute force to get that thing off. Anyone have any words of wisdom?

My customer used a fun word

I had a customer call in to get the username and password to his Blackberry Internet Service online account. However his phone was under a business account, when I checked his businesses ECPV he was not an authorized order placer therefore I could perform what he wanted me to.

He called me a dick and hung up....

Sorry I like my job and don't want to be fired, have a nice day.

another....they don't know their number thread

I'm watching 4 transactions happen: none of them know their phone numbers.

So far its pretty lame. Plus the one next to me is complaining, if I owed them money I bet they could figure it out. Seriously this is crazy, all 4 are more than 1 person: 2 couples, 2 families(50 yr olds plus mom 70+).

The over 50 generation definately talks different than the 20 - 30 year olds. Sometimes I don't know what they are talking about, likewise I'm sure they have no idea what I'm talking about (it is a cell phone store after all).
