Texting Question
The Blackberry allows for you to see the texts as a whole conversation back and forth between people. Are there any other phones for AT&T that also do that?

Yeah, your lucky. I would much rather listen to the customers with questions about their SIMS cards and the people that refer to the phone as the "hot joint", ect. than have to deal with that type of situation again

the issue isn't with the photos he is taking just the ones he tries to enlarge while using medianet. And Yes I read over the notes

A customer had come back into the store and was told by CS that his had a hardware issue and it should be replaced. The issue was this; any photo that he would click on while browsing on MediaNet would lose its quality and look almost like a negative, upon being enlarged. As anyone else heard of this or know how it can be avoided?

I got no complaints working for AT&T. Better than having to deal with the Sprint and Nextel customers I would be subjested to at the multicarrier company that I worked for previously. And I mean multicarrier; AT&T, T-Mobile, Sprint, Nextel, Disney, ESPN (while it lasted), and Jitterbug

Dude you can have a blackberry without the plan. You just won't have access to the full features of the device, but there are a lot of people that just like the full keyboard for texting, thusly they adjusted the required packages to qualify for the rebate.

Nextel is the only company that requires that you get the BB package once a BB is registered on your account. they add it even if you don't. Your sales person was trying to optimize his sales commission by telling you that. Sorry you didn't look into this before shopping for a phone device. Right, but what was said is that you don't need to get the PDA package for the rebate on those phones. It has since been changed to qualify with a texting plan of $20 or higher on a rate plan of $39.99 or higher. READ THE SMALL PRINT
Store Hour Question?
Now we are presently in the process of extending our hours of operation by tacking on an additional hour to the open as well as the closing of the store. This hours aren't in effect and its at the discretion of the sales people wether or not to stay open til 8. Media Net is used for handsets like the razors. PDA plans are used for PDAs and smartphones to allow for the correct use of the device. BB plans then are required for internet and mail use on BBs. Now in systems you can't provision a feature that isn't supported by the device to avoid paying an extra 15 dollars a month for the correct feature plan depending upon if its a BB or PDA

At one time I was selling, ATT, T-Mobile, Sprint, Nextel, ESPN, Disney and later Helio. I would have to say that as far as product satisfactory is concerned I believe Sanyo to make a strong product, good battery life, easy menu navigation etc. I never particularly cared for the Palm devices and don't recommend them to customers ...

That must be only in your market for those rebate guidelines. I am in the Philadelphia NorthEast Market and don't have any such guidelines for regular phones. The stipulation comes with the Blackberries, PDAs and Aircards. Sucks to have to lose business though due to something that you have no control over.
AT&T Curve syncing with MAC?
I have a customer who is having some issues with finding the correct software for this to take place and being firewalled I can't go over the steps with him to figure out how to avoid the errors or anything. Does anyone know the walk through steps to have the curve sync with a mac? Or any advice as to what to use for best ease of use while doing this.

When they pull up your account they wouldn't be able to tell what color you have so if you tell them red they would expect a red one to be sent back but its not really the biggest issue with the device.
