I've read several articles that speculate that Verizon will possibly acquire Alltel in the next couple of years. Does anybody have any insight to this vicious rumor?

i need to get out of my sprintpcs plan so that i can switch to a different carrier. the reason for this is that since moving my sprint coverage is nil at home and work.

how can i cancel my plan without incurring the crazy line cancellation charges? i have 3 lines on this plan and about 14 months remaining....
please please help, i'm paying for something i never use.
on top of that sometimes my phone becomes temp disconnected for no reason. i think the roaming issue might have something to do with it. the bill is always paid....

I can't count the times that I have heard, "Well I have been paying for the insurance so long that it's cost me more than buying another phone." No s**t 😳 ? We are a business, we would not exist if we did not make money. The entire point of our existence is to keep people from paying a large lump sum all at once for a phone. Of course it costs people more money in the long run or no insurance company would survive. I've produced knuckle children with higher IQ's 😈 .

Are really mean. I would think this was a fluke if it wasn't like this at my previous job as well. I rarely get a customer from that state that hasn't been a complete jerk to me.

Even if I'm helping them and nothing is going wrong they're still short with me and anywhere from borderline rude. Anyone else have this problem?

So, this is my first thread. I'm on here just browsing most of the time and reading funny stories of annoying customers and people who need a clue. I finally have my first story that is kinda funny.

I work at a radioshack and we are also a verizon agent still. I get a phone call tonight and it goes something like this:

man on line (in an extreme redneck voice): uh, hi, my name is _____ _____, and i think you helped me with my phone last week.
(ok, so theres three other guys who work here and i was on vacation last week, but oh well.)

me: um, sure...is there anything i can help you with tonight?

man: uhh, yeah.....i dialed this here, uhh, number to get my minutes used. well, uhh, it wants my billing zip code. that's, umm, 4...

I hear "Remember, we're one team" I am going to scream. I can't even mention anything around this place without getting fed some line of crap. All I want to do some times is just point out flaws in other departments or our own so they can be fixed and then they treat me like I'm attacking people. And if we are one team, why the hell are these people still here? All they do is screw up consistently. 👿

Ok so I go to fetish partys its fun as hell but anyway the last party I went to one of the people took a picture of me doing fetishy things and put it on the web site so my coworkers put the picture on our blackberry in the store so now all the customers are givin me props when they come in it pretty funny 😎

i really have a bug about when people watch you type their number into the keypad on the keyboard like your an idiot and cant remember the number they said just a second ago.

they always seem to know exactly when I'm busy and pissed off simultaneously, and then they pick that time to ask me to do random crap that they are fully capable of doing but for some reason want me to help them out with 🙄 . I never ask anyone do to something unless I'm literally incapable of performing the task. Whatever, I declined their request anyway.

I have recently been hired at Wigo Wireless in Falls Church,Va and we are a carrier for Cingular. I'm new to the industry and looking for some tips on how to get a jump ahead on the industry to quicken my progress and make efficient sales. Any tips would be greatly appreciated.

I work for T-mobile so I am very familiar with there commission structure and how we get paid but I have no idea how other carriers pay their employees so anyone from any other companies please write or exsplain how your commision structure works do you make more then me 😎

Very slow day (one customer so far) when this guy walks in saying right off the bat he needs a contract phone. A cheap one.

Me: "This LG is only .99 cents with a two year agreement."

Him: "Got anything cheaper?" 😳

Needless to say I decided to run the credit check before wasting any more time. Wasn't surprised at all to see $1000 deposit...

So have any of you guys seen the southpark where the people have buts for faces and they think that kenny is there long lost son but its really ben affleck? Well anyways for those of you who don't know the store the characters talk and "s" or "th" in a word sounds like they are farting because they have butts for their faces.
I have a customer that sounds just like them!!! It is Hillarious!!!

I get this as a sup call. I haven't used the mute button this much to laugh at someone in a while.

Guy calls in saying that he lost his phone but refuses to pay the deductible. I ask him why. He proceeds to tell me that a "little woman" ran into his house, ran straight to the table where his phone was, stole it, and ran out. He claims that either my company or his service provider sent this woman there to steal the phone so that he would have to pay us the deductible. 🤣 .

Needless to say I spent most of the call composing myself on mute.

I'm waiting for TPS reports to show up on my desk.
