Why are you guys making this so hard?

So he placed the order with Wirefly.com. Either he did something wrong or he had a credit block because they needed a bunch of stuff faxed in for verification (from a store) which pissed him off. He wanted to do it from his house... when I told him no, it must be done from a store for the cover letter and callback information he then got mad and told me he'd lost a vital piece of information...

So he said "Well then just cancel the whole thing!" Me: "Certainly sir, do you have the order number" Because at this point I though he'd placed the order with bigpink.com ... he searches and searches and searches and finally says "Here it is, wirefly order number." I said, oh, that's not our order number they're third party, you'll have to c...

Nothing Works

The Main Ordering Software is down...

The Backup Software is down...

There is no estimated time that either will be back up.

And the printers are down so I don't even have a call tracker so I can keep track of how many calls I have taken.

What exactly do they expect us to do? I'm voting for beating our heads against the wall until we pass out.

Fortunately I have yet to have a caller with an I.Q. higher than a tree-stump so I haven't needed to place any orders... that's the biggest up side of the day.

15 more shifts counting this one, 20 more days all together.

The biggest a$$ ever

A few months ago I upgraded this guy who ownes his own buisness. Some of you probably know this guy he comes in with his employees looking all high and mighty being a complete jerk to me. Anyway after like half an hour he buys an MDA through upgrade. Fast forward a few weeks he cant use it, just not smart enough so he returnes it to another store. Today I get a call from customer care asking if I could find a copy of this guys receipt so he could prove he returned within the 14 days. Of course I cant anyway he comes in a few minutes ago still holding his RETURNED mda I know it him right away. I walk up and say hey whats goin on man he lookes at me and turnes right around. That when his employee "a guy who makes maybe half of what I do" start...

Cut me a deal...

*after finding out we changed some of our plans*

Come on now... Cut us a deal!!

Shut up. I'm not going to cut you a deal. You're butt ugly. You smell. You're old. You've given me nothing but sh!t for the last 30 minutes. You came in 5 minutes before close. You won't buy here even if I do make you an offer.

And even if I wanted to, I couldn't. There is no possible way for me to do that. If I lowered the prices of the phones for you, I'd lose my job. And I don't think you're worth the lent in my pocket, so why would I lose my job for you?

Cellular phones are a priveledge. Not something that you can get for cheap. You have to pay good hard money for it. I pay good hard money for mine. So start paying or go live underne...

Are you serious?

Just had a customer in store. I really think my coworker and I may have lost IQ points just being in the same room with him.

He walks in and the first words out of his mouth are "Do you sell phones here?" Um, you came into a VZW agent store, there's demo phones all over the place, and you want to know if we sell phones. Ok..., we do." He then explains that he's lost his phone and needs a new one. No problem. Then comes question number 2: "Do you sell Verizon phones?" Are you freaking serious? We have 3 big signs in the store that say Verizon Wireless Authorized Agent, not to mention the great big sign on the building and on a pole outside the building, and all the VZW literature all over the store. As if it's not enough to make m...

Happy Monday

Looks like we all have a case of broken phone mondays. Having sunday off isn't enough to deal with one crab after the next, all day long. These people need an attitude adjustment 😈

Systems went down... 140 in queue

This is wonderful, all of the call center's computers just went down except for the Team Leads' comps for some reason. So now there are about 10 of us taking all the calls until the systems come back up.

Frustration...

This has nothing to do with customers...But tell me, is there anything more aggrevating than this...

SO one of our supervisors is leaving and going to a different office. Which isnt the frustrating part, the frustrating part is that her replacement is going to be someone whos only been with the company for about 3 months...There are people that have been here for 4-5 years. Our top seller has been here for about two years, and he is the one we all go to if we happen to have a question or anything (even our new "supervisor" goes to him with questions CONSTANTLY. Hell, she asks me questions 😳 ) It makes no sense. 🙄

Now the reason she got the position is becasue she has "past experience" as a manager. 🙄 Well that doesnt me...

I'm new to the Forum and ready to complain

Just a quick rundown of myself: I am a team lead for a wireless insurance company who's soulessness is matched only by their customers' stupidity. I will scream the next time someone tells me that the rep at the store is lying to them about water being in their phone. Knowing these people they probably use their phones in place of their rubber ducky they deflated. I guess a lied about the whole "quick" rundown thing. Sorry. 😁

Six Flags and Cell Phones

Hi All! I've been gone a couple of days (not that anyone would notice). I took my kids to SixFlags in TX. They had a blast. I laughed all day, though. I watched hundreds of customers ride water rides with their phones on their hips and in their pockets and some of them even were using them to take pictures while they were getting drenched. Drenched, not splashed on. One lady even held her dripping phone up and laughed about how funny it looked to see water rush out of the battery compartment. So, you Texas cell phone people get ready, there were thousands of idiots at the park. I mentioned to one lady that they should sell phone insurance in the park, she laughed and asked "Why? Since it's just water and water never hurt anything!"...

Today when I was eating breakfast, I had a guy with his son come up and start talking to me. He was asking about my schooling what my degree was going to be in and if I had another source of income and if I was happy with my job. He then tried to offer me a job with his new company starting up, then he gets mad when I shot him down. Come on here like I am going to leave one crappy job for another one? Least this one gives me benefits such as checkin out hot guys all day lol. why would i give that one up

The Most Jaw Dropping Phone Call I Have Ever Had

So about 3 and 1/2 years ago I was working for AT&T Wireless and I had just been transferred from Cust Care to Receivables Management. Now, keep in mind that at that time with AT&T it took anywhere from 2-3 months before your service was turned off, and roughly 2-3 months after that before your account was cancelled and you were sent to collections. Here is how the call went.

Me: How may I help you today

Cust: I was wondering if you could tell me why my phone doesn't work.

Me: Let me take a look at that for you (jaw hits floor at this point). Well Ma'am it looks like your account has been in collections since January of 2000.

Cust: Oh, ok. *hangs up*

This lady has not had service for at least 2 years and she was just now cal...

retarded customers and the things that customer service makes me do for them

in case you cant read the main subject

retarded customers and the things that customer service makes me do for them

ok, so im so mad a the uscellular customer serivice. today i spent an hour on the phone trying to get them to ok to do help a customer after they had noted that they would help them. there only responce is transfering me to customer relations. if they promised the customer that they can do something then they should be the one to help me and not transfer their problems to customer service or have the customer come to see me for all the details.

ok next, i had a customer "mistakenly" port out to sprint and incur a cancel fee on two of their lines. when they called customer service to say it was all sprints fault. c...

sweet short simple story.

Why didn't I say it?!?! I keep beating myself up over it, but it's too late now!

A guy walked into our store and said he bought his phones online and wanted us to program his phone numbers into his new phones. No prob, $10 each. He then says that cust care told him it was free (not a cust care bashing story) and to that we said that was incorrect and he would have to pay $10 since he didn't buy the phones from us. He then says the worst thing, he says "You mean I live just down the street, and you are the closest store and you're gonna charge me to do this? Fine, I will never buy anything from you if you don't do this for me for free."...

He bought his phones online...

He already refused to buy anything from us by buying th...
