I am a HUGE dork!

Proof that customers aren't the only stupid ones:

First of all, for anyone that doesn't know, I hate my job (I'm already looking for a new job, just so you know) mainly because it's 100% commission and I don't make enough to pay all my bills on time. Also I got married a week ago today, so that's on my mind a lot too. So, yeah, a little distracted on my way out the door.

I get to work and start scanning everything for inventory. I get finished and start helping customers, and I reach into my pocket to get my phone.... and it's not there. 😳 Needless to say I was not my happiest. I go through the process of getting it suspended so the dirty-rotten thief can't use it. After I call my wife to let her know what happened and she says: "Wha...

I AM NOT Mall information! I don't know the phone numbers to the stores here, I don't know which ones are open extended hours! I am not going to give you detailed directions to the nearest bathroom! And in NO WAY am I in the mood for you people today! 👿

For T-Mobile
does any1 know the master unlock code for a razor v3t, I m not a t-mobile customer, I jus thave a phone given to me and the person who found it, found it with phone asking a for a lock code, which means who ever lost it, placed a lock code, there has to be a master lock code to solve this issue!!
help if you can

Crazy Lady

Ok this crazy lady is starting to freak me out. About three months ago I activated this lady on a Flexpay plan. She was really happy that she could get a phone because in the past she had to pay a deposit. She was really nice and thanked me for helping her get a cell phone. So I said that if she ever need anything to just give me a call. I didn't know she would take it literally.

She came in one month after I activated her saying that Tmobile customer service was calling her and harrasing her. She said she was getting calls from a three digit number. It was highly unlikely that it was tmobile calling her. I looked at her call log on her phone and there was a bunch of three digit numbers but they were all out going calls. So I ask...

crazy knife guy

so the other day i had this customer come in to look at bluetooths. ok no big deal seemed a Little creepy but was fine,
well he started to point to the bluetooths with a flashlight he had on his key chain. Ok a little odd i thought.. i honestly tried not to burst out laughing. ( keep in mind it only him and i in the store.).... well next thing i know he pulls a huge restaurant style steak knife out of his pocket and starts pointing at the bluetooths with it, asking questions about them. I'm not a big girl so i was a little creeped out.
Anyway a cop walked by outside my door and the guy just put the knife back in his pocket and left... WEIRD!!! just wanted to share my story!

Black Friday??????

OK, i keep hearing about Black Friday. But I am not sure exactly what it is. It isn't something we have here in Canada, though the extra sales sound pretty good. Is it a national government implemented thing or just a marketing thing?

Anybody else missing out on sales?

Due to working for an indirect Verizon store. I did not receive any voyagers or venus'. I have already missed out on 2 acts and an upgrade because we didn't have the phones. This is between 2 of my stores. Corporate is really close by though.

Anyone using this thing?
We just started having to call people "when things are slow", which at my store.. is nearly all of the time.
I hate calling people to sell them things, but we are so slow that I would like to see it help, but most of the time, wouldnt you just be talking to a user ON the account, not the account HOLDER?? How does this make sense?

November..... WILL IT PICK UP???

Okay so this month from what i have heard locally is not doing well.,.. AT ALL. I am barely trending 100% normally by this time i am sure i will hit, if not already have met quota. Now unless black friday starts this huge rush i am not sure i will hit, and i am positive my entire market will miss as well as my store will inevitably miss too.
For all those who are on this site, is this a country wide thing? or maybe north east or possibly even as narrow of a market as say western pa eastern oh???

so......

this lady comes in with her daughter and says my phone wont charge. so i put it on the charger and it fires up. i tell them just bring back the charger and we will go from there. the phone is fine. she asks her daughter where the charger is and she says the dog ate it. 👀 ok bye. think they just wanted a free charger? i dunno

all day at work i spend my down-time reading this forum. and i wonder how many of you i've actually spoken with. i think when i talk to another rep from now on, i should just ask them if they creep on phonescoop while they're at work. and if they don't, i'll tell them they should.

Um, can I panic now?

Okay, so about this time last year the managers decided to make us take support calls along with our sales calls. Then they would take the support people and make them take upgrade calls.

Get it? So sales does new lines, and the other dept (CMO) does upgrades. Only difference is CMO doesn’t get commission.

Then the managers decided to let CMO do add-a-lines. You know, only if they come across a customer that needs one while they’re upgrading.

Then CMO could do business accounts, for upgrading, of course.

Then CMO started getting sales calls on a regular basis…

Then they started an outbound calling campaign, something that even sales can’t do. So now they are actively calling our corporate customers and con...

phone companies that suck

i personally like unicel...they have the best service nationwide...alltel sux, verizon sux, t-mobile sucks, at$t sux...they all do...i have webbed feet so i swim like a duck in a pond full of frogs

Get me off of hold already! I've been on hold for 15 minutes. It's not that difficult. So if you are the rep that is working on getting a customers closed account credit put on their active account, hurry the eff up..... I have to eat lunch sometime today. 🙄

A big disappointment...

I just found out that the idirect I work for won't be getting any Venus or Voyager phones until sometime after Black Friday weekend. There go my sales for the weekend. I was pretty much counting on that to bring my monthly numbers up to where they need to be right now. I might as well just call off that weekend and not even bother with the insanity that Black Friday brings. ☹️ ☹️ ☹️
