So the other day I'm talking to a customer when I hear our door *ding*, so I turn around to say my company mandated "Hello, we'll be right with you!". At this time I have a moment to eyeball the customer. He is a semi-normal looking upper 30's male, but he's wearing sunglasses and pushing his bicycle into our store. I'm pretty laid back so I don't think much about it and continue on with my customer. A few minutes later back at my desk I see bike customer cut in line to my coworkers desk behind me, totally disregarding the 4 or 5 people in front of him. People who come in and as for military discounts annoy me. I feel just becasue you chose that career path doesnt entitle you to get discounts everywhere you go. Yes, you might be fighting for this country but remember you chose that. i dont recieve T-Mo disocunts everywhere i go.

The reason for this thread was to vent about some snobby girl who was probably 18-19 who just signed up for the Air-Force. She comes into the store and says it's federal law that we provide discounts for any government employee....sure honey. not here.

I think my manager stole about $100 in commission from the new girl! 😳
She (manager) did "training" wiht her (new girl) but wouldn't let her log in under her own name.

does anyone know how to stop it from asking you if you want to connect to Internet with every click. it only gives you the option to allow and ask again or not allow. i use it on my blackberry and never have problem.

So when you are calling in to get help with an issue...

Giving me 800 details about the problem (in this case, the phone was defective) so telling me every single thing it was doing wrong, that the volume isn't high enough, the pictures aren't clear enough, you don't like the interface, it's not the color you expected it to be, the keys are stiffer than you like, it doesn't slide smoothly, and the ringtones are garbled... instead of just saying you want to exchange the phone is NOT helpful... in fact it's the exact opposite.

I don't need to know that UPS delivered it and it was a Friday at noon and you had to sign for it and it came in a brown box and the SIM card was already installed the the book looked used and when you husband got ...

C- Yeah I live up on Idiot Street and Im a Retard Road. You guys got like 5 trucks up by the water tower and the guys are just standing around.

M- OK whats the problem sir?

C- Whats going on up there what are you guys doing?!?!

M- Well sir I don't know exactly what they are doing but sounds like they are working on one of our towers.

C- WHy don't you know?

M- Well sir we don't know our day to day services of our towers.

C- Let me talk to your manager he should know

M- Sir he won't know either

C- OK let me talk to the president

What place is the best to work as a salesman in the wireless industry?

I am looking to upgrade to a PDA or smartphone. This will be the first time I have had one. I have read reviews here and on other sites like CNET and Engadget Mobile, but I still cannot decide. Please help me. I am currently looking at 5 different devices:

AT&T 8525
AT&T Tilt
Samsung Blackjack
Samsung Blackjack II
MOTO Q Global

The 8525 and the Tilt are pretty much the same device except for the Tilt's tilt and it runs on WM6.

The Blackjack II appears to be better than the original, but because it is so new, there are very few reviews on it.

I have been looking forward to a GSM Q since the original came out.

I am looking for a 3G device (which they all are) with good web browsers and media players. I do not care about corp...
