Hello All!

I am a veteran of the wireless industry, and of these fine forums, and not in the troll annoying kind of way either. It's just taken me some time to get re-signed up, so that I can start posting again. I see that a lot of the old timers are gone, but there are plenty of new faces that are pretty cool (hardcorehavok,nikoletta, and others). Anyway, It's nice to be back!

In your opinion (for VZW employees mainly)

What is the best phone thay have to offer right now? Whether brand new or slighlty older, but still good? I have a friend looking for the best one, money is not really an issue. I still love my enV, but she wants more opinions.

Question for Sprint reps-

Hey- I work at a vendor site for sprint; about a week ago I saw the news on here about sprint offering plan changes without renewing the subscriber agreement- I just checked KMS... ( you phone reps should know how annoying that can be) and I can't find any mention of it. Anyone have the details because us vendor site reps are treated like mushrooms (kept in the dark and fed sh*t)

Go figure.

m=Me

c=Customer

c: "What's this about activation fees?" (pointing to sign that says 'waived activation fees')

m: "We'll waive your activation fee on your first month's bill."

c: "What about deposits?"

m: "That's a different animal than activation fees, but let's see if you have a deposit."

c: (while I'm typing in the information) "I had Sprint once before. But my phone broke. I had put insurance on it but when I went to get it replaced they said I didn't."

m: "Were you paying the insurance charge every month? If you were, they really should have replaced the phone..."

c: "Yeah, fifty bucks every month."

๐Ÿ˜ณ

m: "Fifty? There's a fifty dollar deductible..."

c: "Well, I was being charged fifty dollars extra a m...

Crazy people!

Me: has the phone been dropped or damaged in a way.

Caller: I'm a woman! My phone is pristine. I know men that have their phones, and they never last. Mine stay good for over 2 years.

As teh call progressed, it turns out that her phone was water damaged. So much for that theory! ๐Ÿคฃ

Thought of the Day

For deadbeats that are always late or don't pay their bills, carriers should just auto-convert their accounts to pre-paid.

Passwords on your accounts....

I'm sorry you're not smart enough to remember your account password. I can't get into your account without it. I don't care if you know your social security number, your drivers license number, your fathers military ID number, your sisters white blood cell count or your mothers shoe size. I can't do a single thing in your account without that password buddy. Get mad at me all you want. It's not gonna change the fact that I can't upgrade your phone without your password. Next time, write it down somewhere safe so you don't forget it then we won't have this problem in the future anymore.

I hate holiday shopping times and stupid people

Around this time every year, people come in saying "I'm not going to buy, I'm just going to ask you questions so I know my options." It really only happens this much around the holidays. What I want to say is "So, you're just going to waste my time? FU. Get out" but I value my job too much.

This other arse just wasted an hour of my time. He came in with a dirt old plan. He doesn't use half the minutes he has. Someone over the phone offered him an extra 100 minutes for the same price and two phones for $50 after rebate. I offered him the same phones free after rebate while keeping him on the same plan he has now. Again...he doesn't even use half of his minutes. He insisted that I would be ripping him off by not giving him the m...

Any Motorola Q9m users???

I work for a verizon indirect and I'm thinking about getting a Q9m as a demo line for work. What experience has anyone had with one and what do you think about the phone? I really like the look of the phone and the external speakers are great. The video looks great as well. Nice clear sceen and all. I normally would have no use for a PDA but I figured since this phone can do just about everything that Verizon has to offer, I felt it would be a good idea to have as a Demo to show customers all the different options they could do with thier Verizon phones. I've read the reviews on Phone Scoop and a couple of things worry me about the phone. Such as getting blank white screens and having to pull the battery quite often to reset the phone when i...
