HTC Touch weather

Heres a little background on my story:

I had a customer come in and purchase the new HTC Touch a few days ago and he emailed me asking how he would set up the weather for Burlington,VT.

So being the nice rep that I am I go to our display Touch and try to set up the weather for Burlington VT. Come to find out that the Touch doesn't list any cites for Vermont AT ALL!!!! 😳 😳 😳

I found Burlington,Canada and Montpellier France but nothing for little ole Vermont. I mean Montpelier is our state capital and Burlington is by far the biggest "city" that we have here in VT.

So needless to say I had to email my customer back and tell him that I couldn't find anything in Vermont at all and the closest I could find was Boston, MA.

Seriously, how much worse can it get. I have a job interview today for a job I've always wanted. And what happens this morning? The girl at my store quits so I have to come in on my day off. So I have to make up some extravagent lie to my boss as to why I need to get someone at my store between 12-1. I don't like lying...lets just hope this new one pans through. Here I come Denver!

this drives me nuts

the 8 oclock person comes in and stays around for 30 min just to ask about dumb things then tells me how there dog needs surgery. 😲 then says do you guys do ok here. i would love to show how we pushed 800 gp through here today but then i would get "huh?"

I Swear To God If One More Person Says...

"It sure is empty in here" or "are you guys going out of business?" I am going to go on a psychotic killing spree just in time for Halloween!

Our store IS pretty empty, but WTF do people expect?!? About half our store is empty space, but we don't know what to do with it. We have all our phones and accessories on one wall and our counter is an "L" shape in the rear of the store. The empty space is along two walls with a row of windows. The only thing I could think to put along the wall is chairs, but we've tried that and people keep breaking the chairs. WTF am I supposed to put in that space?!? When Christmas comes around, we put a tree out and that takes room, but what do I do for the other 11 months out of the year? Any ideas?

Good night folks happy selling! Is it just me or is everybodyelse having a slow month as well?? So, far I know ill be swamped towards the end of the month ,I expected better with these new phones being launched(sprint) They absolutely are the worst at marketing and advertisment.

One of the Bose systems planted right in front of my kiosk freaking just shut down my kiosk... I kid you not. Some dude came to play with it, turned it on and BAM!!! Computer off, lights off. I turned the computer back on and waited for it to come back on. Guess how long start up on this thing takes?! 25 FREAKIN MINUTES!!!! I hate you Bose. Go screw a cow and I hope you get diseased.

I think a customer stole my phone...

So... I think a customer just stole my phone.

I had it sitting on the counter, Guy came in with two other people to make a bill payment. One of his buddies walked outside while he was asking about the new q9m.

When I looked at the counter, my phone was gone.

I just got this phone 2 days ago. I've called it several times and I'm about to call and get it hotlisted...

On top of this, my car is in the parking lot with a puddle of coolant underneath it.

Ugh

Just had a customer walk up needing a simcard. She said the phone is in her boss' name however she knows the password on the account. I ask her number then ask for the last four of the social or the zipcode where the bill comes. She doesn't know either. She then ask me if I can look up Atlanta zipcodes and try them till I find the right one. I think I zoned out at that question.

you won another customer because it would take me three days to order a battery for his audiovox 8910. he was a bigshot ceo for some big corporation. he is driving a 4tone tan 89 nissan pickup and looks like he was in a fire a few years ago. enjoy!!! 😁

WTF?!

People wander aimlessly into my kiosk all the time, look at the phones, pick up brochures. i ask if they have any questions, who they are with now etc. If they come in on their phone, I acknowledge them and wait for them to finish. This guy just came in, was looking at Blackberries and the Blast, talking on his phone, asked for a pen and a piece of paper and started writing down the prices. Then he gets off the phone and asks if I know how much structural girders are. Um... no. He then kept asking if I knew the price of all this random stuff. How does a phone tie into a structural girder, a 3 lb steak, a Swiss Army watch and a Ford Ka?! He was either trying to be funny or mentally unstable. But the best part is, he was talking to his buddy o...

why!why!why!

i just had 2 people back to back want to see if they could upgrade their phone...when i ask them for their number they give me their damm home phone number...i Can't upgrade your home phone number so why give me your number???it just amazes me how some people do not use that little thing called common sense...this is not a good start to my day...i also had a lady complain because we didn't have any phones that reached from her ear to her mouth the way she wanted it to...r u freakin serious??

You Have Got To Be Kidding Me!

Friday, a gentleman made a payment in our store. When my co-worker went to put it into the register after he had left, she realized it was not signed. She knew the gentleman worked in our plaza and she locked up the store and walked to the Enterprise car rental store where he worked. He was no there, but the person working said that he'd be back in about thirty minutes. They said they'd tell him to stop in when he returned.

Today is Tuesday and he finally stopped in. The only reason he did was because his phones were disconnected. He was upset with us because HE did not sign his check! WTF! He said that it would've gone through even without his signature. I don't know what country he lives in, but in the US of A, you MUST sign your person...

idiot.

Wow. So I just had a call where a man screamed at me for 45 minutes saying that he disconnected his line yesterday but it's still working. I finally did a conference call so he could hear the recording stating that his phone was IN FACT disconnected, the customer then asks me then why does his cell phone still display the time? WTF?
