just got robbed at gun point for the 2nd time this month....by the same guy. WTF why can't cops keep this guy off the street.

My coworker is helping this really annoying guy that thinks he is funny and keeps telling stupid jokes and asking a billion questions.

He told him that he currently has tracphones and just wants something cheap for him and his wife. I couldn't take listening to him, so I went to the backroom to eat lunch. 30 minutes later, my coworker is still showing him phones and they are looking at blackberries? What happened to cheap?

My coworker just went back to get his phones and the guy immediately started asking me questions about every accessory we have. Ugh. Is it 4pm yet?

in the phone biz. Well sort of. I told my boss I will help out if she needs it, but it isn't my main income.

Anyone else in AT&T notice the recent account audits? Removal of detailed billing on any line with a text messaging package, which is good all around. And today I noticed that one of my customers with an 8125 with a Media Max 200 has a note that goes something like new code, same price, same usage, keep it until you want to change something, then we force you onto the proper package. Which I've been expecting, just didn't expect this middle step.

I have a customer who is looking to get a phone for her mentally ill sister and wants to restrict how much the phone can be used during the day. Now I know that there are phones out there that allow you to only make/receive phone calls that are in the phone book. I was hoping that someone might know if it was possible to restrict usage during the day. All I could think of was a free incoming plan since the customer's sister will be receiving more calls than she would be making. But I don't know at this point. So any help would be absolutely fantastic!!!!

I was activating a phone for a customer and her daughter comes running up to her, apparently having just gone to the bathroom, and yells "It smells like someone crapped out a kangaroo in there!!!" 🤣 It made me laugh.

But its hard when we only get a few customers a day.

I have figured out how to answer one of the most difficult questions I get in this industry: What company has the best coverage? This is a hard question for several reasons. First, you don't really want to turn customers away to your competitor. Second, coverage depends on your area. Although the major carriers (AT&T, T-Mobile, Sprint and Verizon) are considered national carriers, there is a large part of the country that is still not covered and some carriers work in areas that others do not.

If you get someone who asks what company has the best coverage, answer this:

European and Asian carriers.

Seriously if someone asks me if "I'm sure" that I can't exchange their phone they bought from telesales again I'm going to poop my pants. You are not the first person in four years to ask me this, I'm pretty sure I know which locations can and can't support tele/online sales, and I'm sorry you have drive ten minutes away to get help.

I've never worked for a direct dealer, but I can't really bear the thought of just sitting in a store, waiting for people to come in.


I like working in a kiosk, greeting/perimiter selling customers and pulling them in tha way.

It makes the job more interesting I think, and it seems to me that there are more sales to be made.

So I have worked for my sorry a$$ company for well over a year now, and today I start NEW HIRE TRAINING. Any sympathy folks? At least I'm allready @ 160% to quota for the month....

This hugely obese lady just sat down on my princess chair!!! It's mine to use because I'm pregnant. And the weight limit is only 175. And she said "Thanks for inviting me to sit down honey. I just feel so out of breath right now. I don't know why." I didn't freaking invite you to break my chair!! I didn't even say hello to you!! You waltzed into my personal space and parked your fat @$$ without so much as a hello, can I sit here? There are 15 tables and chairs over in the cafe and in that isle are a whole bunch of executive chairs that MIGHT be able to hold your blubber. GRRRR!!!!

In 8 minutes for me.

Last month, I paid my rent on the 1st.
I get a notice on the door on the 11th saying that if rent isn't paid in 10 days, we get evicted.

So I call him, he says it's all set. It got paid that day.
