Holy effing crap.

Busy today today here at the tiny little kiosk.

6 upgrades and 3 new lines for me.
3 upgrades and 2 new lines for my partner in crime.

That was all between 10am and 2:30pm.




Lots and lots of phooooooooooooonnnnnnnnnnnneeeeeeesssssssssss .



Needless to say, I'm friggin tired.

I don't care if you've been waiting for 2 hours

I don't open until 9:00. It is now 8:45. It takes me about 15 minutes to get my store ready to operate for the day. You'll have to wait until I'm up and running before I can do anything to help you.

This arse followed me to the door of the store and tried to force his way in when I unlocked the door. I put myself between him and the doorway and told him he'd have to wait until I was open. He threw a childish tantrum and complained that he's been waiting for 2 hours. I told him that I have always opened at 9:00. That has never changed. The hours are marked on the store and the front window. It's not my problem.

He then tried to tell me that he would "just wait inside" while I got ready. Because of the type of jerk he was b...

And so it goes....

Typical Monday in Costco.



I got here at 1pm and it's so dead in here.

The guy who worked before me, who's a Kiosk Manager at another location, took it upon himself to sell NOTHING for the first 3 hours of the day.


This means that our goal of 4 is left up to me, and me alone.

Gay.


Oh, and to top it off, he left as soon as I got here, and he was scheduled until 3.

But he's a "Kiosk Manager" so that's okay. And this is't even his location.

I'm semi-angry.

How can I..

better be a complete dick. If you are literate and read my previous post you know that I am quiting and am not getting any commission which means I am currently making just over minimum wage. Therefor I have decided not to get off my stool, to not sell anything, to not answer any idiotic questions and leave my head phones on all day. I want to maximize my current opportunity to be a complete asshole so please give me more ideas on how to be a total dick.

WTF do you want me to do?!?!

This guy calls me up demanding that I call T Mo for HIM and see why his phone is shut off because he paid his bill on Friday, it was due on Saturday, he got a receipt that it was paid and T Mo is saying they have no record. Um, call yourself!!!!! I honestly don't care if you bought your phone a year ago from this location, or another Sams Club kiosk or whatever. Don't call me up from your house
b!tching about YOUR problem and expect ME to fix it. That's NOT my job unfortunately. No, your phone should not be shut off within one day, I am sorry about that, but it's not my fault, I don't know you, I'm not taking care of it for you.
Seriously, is this really something I need to do as a sales rep? This guy didn't even come in to the store. H...

customer of the day!!!!!(long)

ok...i work for all tel in a mall kiosk...ALLTEL being in big bold letters everywhere...this guy (probably in his late 30's, early 40's) comes to the booth and the first thing he asked me was why is his phone turned off? first thing i ask is did he pay his bill, just to get that question out of the way...he said he has the bill coming out of his checking account every month and he has had the service for about 7 years...so, i asked him for his MOBILE number so i could look up his account...he proceeds to pull a cell phone out of his pocket to look up his number (which was kinda strange)...after about 3 trys i still couldn't pull his number up...so i asked him if he had his phone with him and he said he had it in his car and i told him to ge...

"Can I get ringtones on my phone?"

...says the customer, walking up to my kiosk and sliding the phone across the glass at me. Not in an angry mean way, just in a sort of careless way.

It's a phone I'm not familiar with (before my time), so I look it up and yes, looks like it can. I tell him this and hand the phone back with a smile.

He replies "Cool. Let's do it. Put some ringtones on it." and slides the phone back again.

I blink, hand the phone back, and say "Well, that's something you're gonna have to do yourself, just keep in mind you'll be going on the internet when you're looking so if you don't have a data package you'll be getting charged for your usage."

He looked crestfallen and says "Oh. I thought _you_ could do it." and leaves before I can offer to w...

Starting to hate it here

So first off I work at a direct store. I have some wonderful, funny people that I work with. Some of these cats just having me laughing on the worst day. When I want to rip into a customer for yelling at me, but I can't because it's my job to sit there and take it. I love the area that I work in, an easy commute. But now it's time to go. I f**ing can't stand it here. Now my peeps that I'm cool with, there's no problem there. It's just a hand full that I can't stand anymore. There is a manager here that is one of the two faced b***hes that I've ever met. Passive aggressive, talk about you behind your back, roll her eyes whenever you need her help, ect. Like I want to bother her with ****. I HAVE to because that's her F-ing JOB! 👿

I was wondering...

Why am I getting billed for my cell phone services? My salesman led me to believe that I could do whatever I wanted, whenever I wanted to. I can get a new phone whenever like - and I never have to pay a dime.

So why do I keep getting these pesky bills?

Can someone answer this for me please?

No, the payment machine does not give change

It really amazes me how customers react to things. Our payment machine doesn't give change. Whatever you overpay gets credited to your next bill. Sometime people look like they are going to cry because they aren't getting $1.79 change.

Most customers know this and I think they actually make sure they have the exact amount.

If I ever get to the point where my budget will break over a Dollar, I think I'll shoot myself.

A bit off forum topic...

Today is Trick or Treat day at my mall. F'n Yay!!! What's the deal with the "costumes" kids try to pull off these days? Honestly, I don't think wearing your street clothes and a Jason Vorhee's mask count's as a real costume. These kids (maybe it's the parents) have no sense of originality anymore. Halloween was always my favorite holiday. I used to go all out as a kid. My dad and I would come up with the coolest ideas for costumes. we'd actually take the time to make our own from scratch and not just buy one from the local wal-mart. Halloween doesnt seem as fun anymore.

Off to my annual company meeting....

Closing the store early and driving 4 hours to pittsburgh for our annual company meeting. How fun for me... At least they are giving us free beer. Have a great day all... Be back tuesday.

I dont' want a contract but

Ok so I had this call today~

M-Hello my name is.. how can i help you today
C- yeah, you guys wouldn't sell my dad a phone at full retail so he got a contract I didn't agree to and you need to reverse it.
M- Sorry to hear that you didnt' agree to the contract. let me pull up your a acct and yada yada yada

A few min later

M- ok what we can do since you can't go back to the store that is 150 miles away is charge you 120.00 as if you had bought the phone at full retail and change your contract date back.
C- no way! you guys were un ethical and so I shouldn't have to pay anything more for the phone
m- unfortunaly sir if you only want to pay 30.00 for the phone the contract will be valid
C- well then i'll just disconnect and pay the ...

Did You Drop It Or Run Over It?

I just had a lady come in with her teenage daughter. She showed me a Motorola KRZK and asked if it could be fixed. The outer screen and surrounding areas were scratched to hell. The screen was shattered and the phone wouldn't even close all the way. It was bent so that the right side of the phone would not go flat against the rest of the phone. Apparently, this was the first time the mom had looked at the phone. She turned to her daughter and began questioning her.

Mom - Did you drop it or run over it?

Daughter - I dropped it.

M - There is no way. Look at these scratches and this damage.

D - I've been dropping it.

M - You've been dropping it?

D - Yeah. I want a RAZR. Buy me one.

M - How much it is?

D - $250.

M - No...
