I hate it when

I make myself look like an ass in front of my customers.

Case in point: Just sold a Bluetooth headset to a woman with a Verizon Moto KRZR. First of all, I don't sell Verizon, so I don't know how the pairing process works with their phones, but I figured that out pretty easily.

After I sold the headset to her, she asked if I could help her set it up. I said "sure!" thinking the headset's battery would have a charge on it out of the packaging like most others do. I took the headset out and tried to put it in pairing mode... nothing. Kept trying, thinking I was doing something wrong... still nothing. I finally realized the manual says that the headset needs to be charged before anything can be done with it. So I ended up wasting fi...

For AT&T reps

The Sony Ericsson W580i... is this a good phone? Have you has any known issues with it or big problems? I'm thinking of buying one for myself.

Gosh Darn Mother Farting Doodie Head

Just had a customer who really pushed my buttons. He came in with his wife and son stating he had been getting messages from us (CellOne) to get a new phone because his contract is up.

C - What do you have to offer?

R - Every phone on this table is free and the others are priced with a contract renewal discount.

C - Do you have the RAZR?

R - Yes, sir. It is $100 with a new contract.

C - Really? I got a message from CellOne that said I could get one.

R - Free?

C - Yep.

R - We did have a promotion last month where it was free after a $50 mail-in-rebate, but that ended. Do you still have the text message?

C - I don't do rebates. Yep. "Add a line and get a free RAZR after rebate."

I Hate Our Distributor!

Our distributor sucks! Every single time we place an order, we have a problem. First of all, EVERYTIME we place an order we get a call a couple days later saying our order is on hold because we have a balance. WE PAY WITH A FREAKIN' CREDIT CARD! There is no way we can have a balance. Evertime, they say "Oops! Our bad." Because of this, our orders are always delayed a few days. Also, they can't seem to keep any phones in stock. We normally keep 5 or 6 of each free phone and 2 or 3 of the others in stock. Of course, free phones go quicker than others and we are not the busiest of stores. Yesterday, we called to order some phones to replenish our stock. Out of the 11 phones we normally keep in stock, all but 2 were out of stock! WTF! How are we...

OLD People, they drive me nuts.
Example:

Me:Hello, how may I help you today?

CX:I need to make a payment.

Me:Ok its going to be $56.95

Cx😲k I would like to pay with me debit card

Me:no problem

I swipe the card and it wont go through. I ask the cx if he has another card. At this point he is looking at me like i am stupid.

Cx:No all my cards are linked to one account in Canada.

ME:Well im sorry but our system will not accept your canadian credit card.

Cx:Well this is america you guys are supposed to accept any type of money.

ASSIST ME.

Well, I don't really need assistance.

What I need is for Cingular/AT&T people to give me some feedback on activations/upgrades through that company.

I work for a 3rd party dealer selling Verizon, T-Mobile, and Sprint.

But in a couple weeks we're getting rid of Sprint and picking up AT&T, so I'd just like to know what I'm getting into.

OT: Great Book or Greatest Book?

This is off topic, but who here likes Stephen Colbert and the Colbert Report? I bought his book "I Am America (And So Can You)" this week and it is the most hilarious book I have ever read. If I was a South Carolinian, I would definately vote for him in the primary.

i recently changed my hair.since i went from braids to dreds my sales in one week have more then tripled. not only are my dreds easier to take care of i think that senior citizen fear me less. (as if there was ever a reason)plus all the lil highschool girls from the school across the street have been saving there allowances just to come buy accessories from me😁 how cool is that!?!

Though I'm filled with anger, I will at least get to take it out on taking pictures of unsuspecting people and print them out via Bluetooth. 😛 Let's see what kind of shots we get!!! hahahahahahaha.

Does anyone have an F.Y.E. in thier mall???

My kiosk is right outside of F.Y.E. at my mall. A woman and her husband just walked by my kiosk and she said to her hubby "you go on ahead, i'm gonna look in Fryes for a minute". LOL, where did the R come from?

Ok, I want to start of by saying this is my day off, but I saw and heard the funniest thing in a while, and I felt I should share it with you all.


I was at the mall (ugh, I hate it there) looking for a copy of the game Jericho that came out. I walked by the T-Mobile kiosk that's in there, and some guy was yelling at the rep. About his Sprint phone. The agent was trying to get the customer to go down the next wing of the mall (our mall is kinda shaped like a plus sign) to where the Sprint kiosk was, but the tard wasn't having it.

I walked past, thinking it was typical, but just ignored it.

Come In Already!

The parking for our store is directly in front of us. I can see when someone pulls in. I hate it when people pull up and wait in their car for several minutes before coming in. It bugs me. I may be writing a post here or watching a YouTube video or something, but when I see someone pull up, I stop what I am doing and go to our store computer. Today, I did this when a customer pulled in. I timed how long it took them to enter the store: 22 minutes!

This is much higher than average. I'd say the average for these customers is 2-5 minutes. It just annoys me. If they are on the phone, I understand. I would rather them finish their conversation in the car than while I am trying to help them. Why do people do this? It is a serious pet peeve of m...

Bidness is bidness...

Just lost a sale to a small business customer. He tried to get a plan activated in his business' name, but after I did the credit check the decision came back showing he would have had to pay a $500 deposit. Then he has the nerve to say to me "Bidness is Bidness and that aint good bidness. As if it's Verizon's fault his business' credit sucks. Obviously bidness aint good for your crappy company buddy.

Call Back

Monday, I received a call from my boss as I was getting ready for work. I was scheduled to work at our kiosk, but my co-worker had a family emergency and had to take the day off. My boss asked me to work at our store location instead. It makes sense because our store location does more business than our kiosk. Yesterday was the first day I have been back at the kiosk. One thing that I have found out since I have worked here is that I am the only person who checks the voicemail. We use a cell phone for our kiosk and store phone. Our phone showed NINE new messages. I called and listened to them. They were all from Monday and they were all from the same person. The calls began around 3PM and went through 6PM. Six of the nine messages were back ...

whats the deal?? is it a great phone?? whats your honest take on it?? how is it for voice, email, battery life,and text. Im sure the music side is great. On a scale of 1 to 5 how do you rate it?
