Irritations

There are a lot of things that customers do that irritate me but there are a few that really bug me.

When people talk on their cell phones with the speaker phone on and use it like normal. You do realize that everyone can hear your conversation and the whole point of a speaker phone is so you don't have to hold it up to your ear. That private conversation you think your having is not so private. Some of the things that I have heard people talking about just amazes me.

Make up caked to the phone. This one makes me sick to my stomach and I have dry heaved before. I mean seriously ladies if you need to wear that much make up to hide your hideous face at least take 5 mins to clean your phone before you bring it in to let me trouble s...

And here comes the customer's deafness..

me: Thank you for calling ******, my name is *********, can I have your mobile number with area code first?

customr: My name is...

That doesn't answer the question..

me: Thank you for calling ******, my name is *********, can I have your mobile number with area code first?

customer: Yeah, this is what i'm calling about..

That doesn't answer my question..

Clean out the ears people.

As a side note, also stop interupting reps. You dont want us to interupt you, so learn some manners and return the favor.

OMG UBP SUCKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !

OK, so I know the other day, people posted threads about the stupid ubp system that Sprint is now using. I am losing my mind. Nothing works, you can't find info you need, oh, and on a personal note, I have not been taking tech calls for over 16 months. I AM COMPLETELY LOST!!! AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I had to vent.. Sorry. I've come so close to cussing every word on know on the floor today. With a no tolerance policy... I'm so bound to be fired! lol

I'm done venting.. at least for now. For those of you not yet in ubp, my thoughts are with you. haha

And here I thought I had heard it all...

Apparently Sprint is a racist company, because apparently, we only give black people spending limits. 😳 🙄 I assure you Mr./Mrs. Customer, many other Sprint customers would quite disagree. 🤣

supervisor calls or questions

i was wondering how these get handled in other call centers. in mine they would have a special speed dial for them and a team. well they demoted them then a day later they asked them to walk to floor to do the same thing. now they are going to have team leads get on the special queue and be on there for an hour at a time. i dont think that will last because some are not very knowledgable of the product. input guys?

I know we've been over things like this

a million times here, but there's one thing that really urks me -

Why does everyone spell "courtesy" wrong?

I can be very interested in a thread until I see "curtesy".

I immediately stop reading.

It's become a fad to forget the "o".

seriously...

i dont even work in a call center anymore...
ut how many "I HATE UBP" threads are really needed?

you only HATE it because its different.
just like you had to leran premiere and p2k... you will have to LEARN emsemble.

if you have a specific question, then ask it.
dont go around here b!tching about it nonstop when everyone already knows.

i had UBP for 9 months of the ime i worked for NSS.
its EASIER than p2k. A LOT easier.
but i hated it at first.

so just fu(king SUCK IT UP and bite your tongue.

damn.

UGHHH....I Hate Stupid Customers!!

I have never seen so many stupid people until I started working in cellular retail sales.

C: So when can i upgrade?

Me: April 29th

C: Oh, so I cant upgrade today??

Me: No ma'am, however our company allows customers to upgrade 2 weeks early in some instances.

C: Ok! So can I upgrade today??

Me: (looking at a calendar) No ma'am, but you can upgrade tomorrow.

C: Oh well can you tell your manager that since I am already here and since its only one day away from when I can upgrade will he let me do it.

Me: Well ma'am we are actually doing you a favor by letting you upgrade two weeks early, there will be no way that we will be able to let you upgrade any earlier than that.

Why cant people just understand??

Make an exception?

Me: I'm sorry maam, but you've had a payment arrangement in the past 30 days (end of march). So we unfortunately can not extend that /CURTESY/ to you at this time.

C: I pay my bill, I dont ask for payment arrangements very often, can't you make an exception just this once?

Me (what I wanted to say): No maam. You see, we already made one exception for you already by even restoring your service to begin with. You see maam, when you extend your service out, that is a curtesy. That means it is not something in your contract or owed to you by service. We could have, instead, just left your phone off since we dont have to ever give you an extension at all. Have a nice day 🙂

Why do people reward customer stupidity????

If the customer does not look at his bill and uses that as an excuse for overage why do people reward that and give credit Grrrrrrrr!(an example would be claiming he had no idea how many text were included with his plan even though he had the same plan for over a year.)

security pin

Why is it that when ever a customer doesn't know their pin and I say, "it's a 6-10 digit NUMBER," Without fail they will either give me a 4 digit number or a word. Does six-ten digits say anything about it possibly being a word? NO

M: How can I help you, sir?

C: I want to talk about me bill.

M: Sure thing, sir. What specifically would you like to discuss?

C: The phone I ordered. I was told the price of the phone would be $99.99. Why was I charged $106.99

M: That would be the sales tax of $99.99, sir.

C: Ah!....Thanks! Have a good day.

M: You're welcome, sir.

pin numbers

y do ppl set up passwords on phones and then when they cant remember them think its my fault

i just had someone come in with a passworded phone
told him that if he has only locked the simcard and not the phone that he could buy a new simcard and that would solve the prob

he gets all uppity that he bought the phone from here and its not working right that i should fix it

he could not grasp the concept that the password was something that was set up by him and its not our fault in the least

blah i hate ppl

thats y i never do anything with pin numbers
