He was carrying around a picture of wonder woman that he named "kari" I'm guessing from the way the mother and he were talking it was his girlfriend.
He was nice and polite and just kind of wandering around. I was on the phone with customer service after a 15 minute wait. ๐
he walks over to my phone and with the picture of "Kari" pushes down on the hook, hanging up my call in the middle of the activation ๐ณ
I didn't want to be rude so I just kind of laughed and said "well, I hope they call back"

Something BAD always happens at this store the days I'm not here.
The guy who was here yesterday left me a cute little note saying "Some kids stole all the dummy phones"... Yep, all of our "good" dummy phones, 8 of them, are now gone. 2 Samsung Beholds, 2 Gravity's, 2 Blackberry Pearl Flips, a Sidekick 08 and a G1.

Dude, seriously, like WTF?!?!
So I tell my boss about it over the phone first thing the very next day.
Apparently he didn't believe me and had to come in and see that yes indeed they were stolen. And then he said we need to get them replaced as soon as possible, and said "Don't worry,i'll take care of it."
And now a few days later here I am still waiting on the dummy phones and here he is Text messaging me saying that "You better not have any dummy phones missing the next time I or the owner of the company comes in to check your store out or you're in serious trouble!!"

A question for the ladies...
A guy just came in whining about how he wanted to upgrade but he didn't want to pay for it. He's a month away from eligibility and he wants us to price match Best Buy's price on the rumor plus waive his upgrade fees.
I greeted him and started to show him the phone. He cut me off and started asking my male coworker questions. My coworker is now doing the upgrade and that's really annoying to me.
Plus, these people that come in whining about how awful our customer service is because we won't give them everything for free? That REALLY gets on my nerves.

Last night a customer and his mother come in to send his phone into repair. It's freezing up and blah blah blah. So I give him one of our really nice loaners. Same brand just a little bit older. First his mom calls in after they get home to tell me he can't figure out how to get the T9 on. so I tell them then they call in again saying it wont stay on and he can't get it to say "me" instead of "of" and he's pi$$ed because he has to have a phone with T9 that stays on. ๐ (I'm sure it's a b...

Violent customers
VCC = Violent crazy customer
Quick backstory; we have a type of corporate account here that requires us to fax a form to a department to get a autorization # and then we refax it to activations. Obviously this can only be done during week days and those customers are aware of that. What we usually do is do the invoice, program the phone and process it through the system the next business day.
My new rep comes to ask me for help because he doesn't know how to process these types of account.
VCC = You can just bill me for the phones and activate them on Monday
M = Absolutely, we'll just need to fill in the form now so we still have all your information

I finally gave up, and just did it for her... bad part is she is about 16, so technology shouldn't be that challenging to her. The future of this country is screwed!

Activation Fee's
Because even though I have the ability, I refuse to waive, or credit, activation fees for the reason that I refuse to get discounts, "I pay cash, we make deal?" No. Some people are great at giving me a really hard time and backing me into a corner to the point where the manager has to get involved, at which point it is waived.
How do I shut these people down quick and easy?

Now my store which is just a couple hundred feet away gets almost no commission if we sell the Behold for $250 with a $50 mail in rebate.
I'm wondering how they can drop the price like that and still make money, because that's like a $500 phone (I think)
