same team? Call Center - Corp Store - Indirect

I haven't posted on here in so long i forgot my password. But i have read nearly every post for the past 4 years. I have worked in Corp world, Call Center, and indirect. What I don't get it the hostility between the 3. Why cant we all be on the same page. Indirects can only do so much, not because they don't want to, but because corp wont let them. Corp stores can do alot more than indirects and must assume that if they can everyone should be able to do it too. Call centers seem to be to weak to tell the cust NO! But then, why should they? they send the customer into Corp stores and indirects all the time for things that the cust was probably already told he couldn't do. Thats why he called in. So now the stores "Lied" to them. If you aren't...

i greatly dislike it

when a customer doesnt even look at one of my products when im trying to help him find something protective for his phone

he ended up buying the very least protective silicon i sold.

i was only slightly amused >.>

TMO to VZW

Has any rep on here made the switch from t mobile to verizon. I really live selling t mobile. I honestly believe that it is the best deal. But every night when I walk out to my car. I cant help but notice that all the vzw reps are getting into chargers and infiniti s. While Im squeezing into my 95 corolla. Do they really make that much more. BTW I amm a really good sales rep. My numbers are as good as anyone else in my district.

Liars

So I had some custys come in today, and said thier boost phone didn't work in thier house...bla bla bla. So they brought in thier old boost phone (cdma) to get reactivated. We asked them (before thier dumb @sses paid the bill and reactivation) if they had flashed it to metro pcs. They insisted that they didn't, we went through the reactivation process and they were on thier way. They come back 2 hours later saying thier phone never got activated. After I made a test call, I realized that they DID flash it to metro. Thier stupid @sses thought if they lied to us, we'd be able to hook up thier boost as if there was some moral reason as to why we wouldn't reactivate it. Luckily they were way too late to refund the payment, and they got all pisse...

Hooray for responsible custie

How is it that one responsible custie makes the sun shine brighter and the grass seem greener. ever few months this customers blackberry gets knocked off the server and he always brings in his user name and password so we can fix. even though he could do this from home and declines to learn he still is our stores favorite customer because he brings all his information, treats us like people, and remembers our names. Horray for a good custie!

FUNNY

So a 40 year old female custy came into the store today to do a phonebook and picture transfer to her new phone... The machine kept getting hung up on pic number 61 everytime I tried to transfer... when the customer asked why, to which I answered that our machine was programed to check for terrorist pictures and child pornography and those would be the only reasons I could think of why it would hang (I was joking with her, ofcourse)... Before I could say I was just kidding, she grabbed both phones from the machine and bolted out the store... odd 🤣

I hate Customers

I just had a so called Doctor call me up and just yell at me for a Sales agent asked for way to much personal information and made him feel like a criminal and that the phone that was sent to him was way to hard to use. The idiot was sent a Nokia 2610 one of the easiest phones to use. Hell my Dad is 76 years and would know how to use that phone. So now the "Doctor" is sending the phone back with a note and his phone number so we can call him and ask him how we can be a better company. What a Dbag 😈

Had one earlier today. Ugh..

Me:Can I get your mobile # to log into the account?

C: I don't know that, I never call myself.

Me: Ok then, I have a ? for ya. do you send yourself letters?

C: What? No, of course not.

Me: Do you know your address?

C: yep, why do you ask?

Me: No reason. Let me see your phone.

Pulled his # off the phone, plus the customer didn't get the joke :p Days just getting better and better. lol

I am so sorry to the customer service rep i just let this crazy lady call...I didn't know she bought a refurbished phone and it only had a 90 day warranty...now she is going off on you and im very very sorry...

Crazy Lady

So lady came in with a soaked phone which had never been near water of course. She refused insurance and wanted a free replacement because she was so valued and loyal bla bla bla and when I told her that she would have to pay full retail price threatened to have her son and husband come kick my a** until I give her a free phone 😳 Needless to say she was escorted from the building by the boys in blue. Where the he** do these people come from??

Question about txt messaging, my store is stumped, please help.

We just had a customer come in, and whenever his daughter sends a txt to anyone, it copys and sends one to him. has anyone ever encountered this before? he doesnt want it, she doesnt want it (of course.) does anyone have any ideas on what this could be?

Well with the economy the way it is.. I was hoping you would have some better deals...

Seriously, how do people think this one will work?

companies are closing left and right, consumers are declaring bankruptcy to avoid paying their bills, and people think this will suddenly make cellphone carriers give away every phone for free and cut the cost of service?

If anything credit checks will become more strict (yes mam, declaring bankruptcy does hurt your credit rating.) and companies won't be too keen on subsidizing the costs of a phone even more when the chances of people actually paying is lower.

Month Free? REALLY?

Store Reps, love you guys........really......u make the world go round..but (VZW REPS) PLEASE......PLEASE stop putting free months of vz navigator, Vcast Vpak, vcast mobile tv, and any other feature on accounts. the customers will NOT remember to call in after the month is over and they will call me.........wanting credit. i had a guy call today saying he didnt know the SIXTY DOLLAR tethering feature was on his account for SIX MONTHS and wanted credit for each month EXCEPT THE FREE ONE. how do you miss that?
