@ the week so far

I don't know what June did to change people, but we've been really busy the past few days. Typically Monday and Tuesday are really slow for this store, but the past two days have been insane.

Now, if only we had the EnV3.. From the number of people looking for it, our sales would be double what they are right now.


How is the week going for everyone else?

I AM NEW TO THE FORUM, BUT THIS SEEMS LIKE A MORE RELIABLE SOURCE OF KNOWLEDGE THAN MOST STORES AND CC. I WAS JUST WONDERING IF ANY OF THE ATT EMPLOYEES KNOW MUCH ABOUT THE NOKIA E 71X. I JUST GOT THE PHONE, BUT CANT DO SOME THINGS I WOULD LIKE TO DO. I WORK FOR TMOBILE SO THATS MY EXCUSE FOR ASKING FOR HELP. SKYFIRE IS WHAT I WANT. AND THUS FAR CANNOT HAVE. ANY SUGGESTIONS?

Alltel Call Center Toledo, Ohio

I am going to Toledo to help with the VZW conversion. Where is the call center located at and what is there to do in Toledo? I know it is a decent sized city but I will be there for 2 weeks and would like to have something to do (and drink). Any recommendations?

In Store Technicians..

Are there any in store technicians on here that work for Flextronics? I was just wondering...I am trying to get out of the sales game and have an interview Thursday to work for them at a VZW location. Can you shed some light on the company? Interview processes...pay...etc?

Seriously?

I had a store tech call into me, she had just replaced the phone and the customer could not make calls. I checked the features and there was an Incoming Only feature on the account, removed it and tested, worked. The sad part is that the customer had called in yesterday and spoken with customer service and 2 techs that did not see that. 😳 It's crazy how we over look the little things.

i hate my job

is anyone else here tired of arguin with customers over stupid sh!t like water damage on their phone, or ppl who think they deserve a free phone without an upgrade becuase they have been a customer for a bagillion years? im tired of these ppl... why cant ppl understand wireless is a buisiness and not a utility required? why does everyone think the technology in cell phones (which is less then 10 years old) is cheap? cellphones are way more complex than a dvr yet, ppl still pay $200 for a player? f off douchebags, learn some commmon sense, then come back, until then dont come into my store

We are Cellphone company not a Bank

I was reading a notes here that the customer is asking for the interest of his $100 deposit that he put on his account last year.The rep put a comment that he educated the customer that we are a cellphone company not a bank.

Idiot. 🤣

My Credit Card doesn't have a CCV.

I was about to set up a credit card replenishment for one of our prepaid customers. No biggie, but we just changed systems within the last week so I had to update his card information. He handed me an old Visa and the credit card verification number was so worn down that I couldn't read it even when I tried reflecting the light to read the indentations. The man proceeded to tell me that there had never been any numbers there I must be reading it wrong. I entered the visible numbers....guess what....denied because of incorrect ccv. The man got so pissed off and proceeded to tell me how he uses this card all the time at this location (he hasn't been in any store for at least 6 months) and finally threw some cash at me to get the payment d...

DUUUUUDE

i work at a gowireless (your verizon premium retailer!). today might be the day i snap. first off, i've been the only rep in store all f'n day. THEN, it's been dead. 2 phones out the door, but it was one of those stupid customers that wanted to know why he couldn't have a dare for free. after telling him it was literally impossible for me to do that, he goes on to tell me that customer service told him he could at any location OR online because of he NE2 rebate. which i might add was only a $50 NE2 rebate. i finally told him i'd give him a free charger and case, he caved and bought it, i subsequently made a lot of nothing on the sale.
shortly after this 'tard leaves i have a customer who just upgraded 4 new phones at the cartoys down the ro...

How I got fired

I came to work today... drunk.. and everyone could smell it.. and I was super nice and very customer friendly.. but the boss said I was drunk and fired me. What do you suggest? Should I start praying to Oprah again? Join her book club?

I lied about it all, its just what I do in shop talk is I lie. I have only had people ask to use the bathroom.

Cust: I need to pay my broadband bill

Me: Your total is $53.59

Cust: What the bill says $41

Me: Your bill is past due...there is a $10 late fee and $3 instore pay fee.

Cust: What? I ain't payin no $53 I'm paying $41 and that's it

Me: If you don't pay the past due balance your service will be cut off.

Cust: Now that's some bull**** it hasn't even been that long.

Me: I'm sorry it shows on your bill right here that it was due on the 20th and today is the 23rd.

Cust: I'm gonna find me a new service is what I'm gonna do. Here's the $53.59 I'd like to see them cut off my service now. I'll sue their a**.

Me: Your account is now up to date your service will not be cut off. (She storms out) Thank You!

Cavs vs Magic

Cavs simply was outplayed and i agree that they was this game. The only thing that kept the Magic in this game was the 3's they kept hitting. what was it, 18 of them? But is it just me or was that lob to dwight at the end of the game an offensive foul on howard? which wouldnt seen anderson to the line and/or atleast howard wouldve been fouled out. Why i seen it as a foul is because Howard deffiantly had his arm locked and pulled Anderson down as well.

But good game to the Magic, but those shots wont fall like that every game, and Cavs backs are against the wall, but remember when the cavs came back down 3-0 against the Pistons?

any verizen tech reps?

Can you guys not just call metcalf and correct a customers routing?
I work att tech and had a cus can't sms a veriozen who shows
Metcalf routing as sprint called veriozen to correct
And rep wanted to do a week case on it so had call metcalf myself
To fix the veriozen cus phone, any insight from a verizen rep y they
Couldn't do that?
