Customer Where Art Thou?

Dear Almost customer, why must you deceive me? You promise to come back and activate with data, then go 60 feet away to the Verizon directly across from us and activate through them. why? oh why did I deserve this...And why do you keep looking back at me with that guilty look of yours...sad... 😢

So yesterday I had this guy ...

Come in and scream at me because I had his rebate form sitting on my desk that he mailed off in April in a mailbox on the other side of town and I wouldn't give him his money. Not only did he claim that but also that I made his wife cry and she couldn't come to the store and handle it.

He also proceeded to obscurely threatened me and was going to bring "Eyewitness News" down here. That was after he tried to threaten to burn the store because he was Italian and he doesn't get mad easily. Also, after I had already spoken to his wife twice that morning who was quite nice, not even close to crying. Oh, and she did mention that her husband was in the hospital going to have surgery tomorrow so he couldn't come and handle it (He came into my sto...

ATTENTION CUSTIES WHO READ HERE...

here are a coupla things you should know when you walk into my store....

1: I speak English...Fluently. That's it.

2: There is a f'ing line, WAIT IN IT.

3: I can only talk to one person at a time, the person in front of me is who i'm engaged with at the moment. The other 6 people in front of you are next, in the order they are standing. YOU ARE THE 7TH PERSON.

4: I don't care about your personal life don't share with me a 54 minute long story on how you didn't get your phone wet, why you can't pay your bills, who stole your phone, how you're sick of your service......

5: If you see me jump back with ninja quick speed is because...(A) Your breathe smells like crap, (B) YOU smell like crap, (C) Your mate and or buddy smells like...

Contract vs Pre-Paid service

For many this might be a stupid question. However, I would like some professional feedback. Because I am in the industry, I got pulled into a discussion about the "pros and cons" of contract vs prepaid services. What are your thoughts?

Do both have good points? Why should one select one over the other? Is one better? Dose the company/provider have much to do with it? Are the features and services really the same with both? If you have one do you wish you had gotten the other? What would you tell a friend or family member to get and why?

I would like to know your thoughts. Plus, as we have both dealers/agents and the customers/public that are part of these forums, it might help someone else too.

I wish I had someone come in

that was real dumb and made me real mad and was in the wrong and got arrested because they were so dumb and wrong and it would make me feel powerful and I could write a story about it on here and then everyone would be like, "Dang Ya'll" and I'd say yes to them.

I love how some people believe that with positive thinking they can get a sale when really its just a matter of someone walking up and wanting a phone. Simple and plain. No positivity innvolved.

Living in the stone ages......................

I had a guy ask me if there are any payphones in this mall..... WTF! I havent seen payphones since like the early 2000s! At least not in my area. Then another guy asks if we have a phonebook!? Its called google people! We are almost in the year 2010! Pull youre asse$ out of the 90s and embrace technology! If you dont want to, go crawl back in the freakin hole you came out of! So apparently negativity is bad...

My supervisor has decided to give out negativity awards...if you say something negative you get the award. Whomever hasn't had the reward gets a prize at the end of the week.

have you ever had a call with someone who was so rude and mean have you ever wondered how many people they have spoke to like this! can you imagine what kind of karma these kind of people may reieve. i have no idea why and how people can be so rude and irate to reps or any one at all! i can never ever find that kind of rudeness. it is just so dis-respectfull!!

Nextel Question

Can anybody confirm a question that I have? I work at SCK (a kiosk inside Sam's Clubs nationwide), and we offer three carriers, one being Sprint. We do offer a few Nextel phones as well, but I was recently told that our kiosks are charged to even have Nextel phones in our inventory. If this is the case, then I will no longer be carrying Nextel for the few random people in my area that actually have Nextel.

Really, Seriously?

Dear sales agent,

When you need to bring a customer to me, that's fine, I'm here to help make sure you get credit for your sales. However, if I ask you to do something...please do it and don't argue with me. It's not worth the CA that you'll very likely get later on to argue when I ask you to do something, because I'm here to help you...I'm not here to come off as a high and mighty, but PLEASE, remember I have the ability to make sure that you get credit for your hard work, and I'd hate to see all of that go down the drain because you're a punk @$$ know it all who thinks it's okay to tell ME how to do MY job. Chances are, I've been here longer than you have, I used to do your job and I damn well know how to do mine. Thank you.

You never mess with people that make your food (if you did then you will be sorry).
Why would you yell and belittle someone on the phone that has your SSN, Address, All numbers to your account, Email, Password to the account, if the rep is lucky, your Credit Card.
Why would you try to mess with someone with that much power?

Some how, management disabled the "Mute" button on every phone in the call center. This is driving me crazy..... If anyone knows a "work-around" please let me know
