Re: Roaming..."all" mins included?
From what i was told there is no way for them to track that. That is the reason that the roaming is now incuded.

*2 only needs to be used with phones that were released prior to the 5600. everything after the 5600 updates automatic.

Re: Sanyo 9000 Discontinued
where is cellularman 2006??? i called this on november 16
Re: Sprint coverage question
Any fair and flex plan over 200 minutes gives you coverage anywhere in the us with no roaming. this does not mean that you will be on sprint network but you can still use your phone with no additional fees. this is the same thing verizon and cingular do. the difference is sprint actually shows where their network is. if you want a more accurate view of the others true network look at the coverage ...
Re: Sprint Tightens the Noose
all cellular carriers discontinue phones and change services...why...because they come out with better ones. welcome to 2005.
Re: Question for radioshack employees...
yes radio shack can port numbers
Re: 9000 and 940 done
im not saying that they are not great phones.....but watch and see
Re: 9000 and 940 done
why do you think it is so hard to get this phone. the stores where i live cant even have this phone in their inventory. they can get it sent to them if someone wants to buy one.
9000 and 940 done
i have just been told end of life on both of them is end of december. i really wanted the 9000. this sucks.
Re: Broken Phone
i have worked for sprint for 4 years and never seen that peice break off. not to say it isnt possible but you would almost have to try to break it.
Re: Sanyo 5600 and Power Vision?
the 9000 will support power vision. 5600 will not.
Re: CAN YOU SAY "CHEAP???"
any phone is going to have certain issues. i have yet to find one that does not. as a sprint rep and lontime owner of sanyo phones(6200,4900,8100,5500,5600) they are the best out there in my opinion.
Re: Is this normal?
the case they sell for that phone at any sprint store is made by sanyo, and they are pretty cool. if you dont like that try the body glove line. data software? are you talking about a data cable? sprint stores dont sell those. try online.
Re: Is this normal?
just make sure you buy your phone at a sprint store. it will go a lot better for you if you have warranty issue as far as getting it replaced. sprint insurance works by calling an 800 number they take a $50 deductable and you get a new phone. you only have to use this if you break or lose your phone. if it is a manufac. defect you take it back to the store ...
Re: Is this normal?
your first mistake was going to radio shack. would you buy a new ford at a chevy dealership? the ultimate pack is 20 a month. if you are within 14 days you can return the phone to radio shack. no, you cant keep your number as far as i know because you are now an existing customer. just an additional question for you, did you buy insurance? if so did you get ...
Re: Sanyo 9000
there are pictures on sprintusers.com. they also have pics of the sanyo mvp, a 9000 that is black with red keys and will have some kind of espn affiliation. there are also pics of the 4930-replaces the 4920, and about 3 new samsung phones as well.
Re: I feel all late and sh!*
a setting where you can change the language from english to spanish or gangsta
Re: alltel or u.s.cellular
us cellular only has network in the southern half of wisconsin. the northern half of the state is cellular one. if you use your phone in this area you are roaming. us cellular may offer a package to include this area? alltel claims to cover all of wisconsin but in many areas by where i live they cannot sell to you because they dont have towers there. you might want to check on this.
Re: Looks like Sprint isn't doing so well after all -- Get Ready For Another A$$ Kicking!!!!!!!!!!!!

Re: Samsung PM-A840
if its anything like the a800 which also is internal it should be one of the best.
Re: I CAN ANSWER THAT
dont you just love all the morons that look at verizons big red map and take it as the bible. do you think he realizes that their actual coverage area is 1/2 of what they show. if verizon was true to their customers they would show where their actual network was. not to mention that evey time i talk to my friends with verizon all i can hear is static.
Re: Samsung A660
I agree with lownote, avoid this phone. The reception on it is terrible and it is discontinued now anyway, so any stores that have it are just getting rid of leftovers. Go with the 2300 if you have to get a free phone. Better yet pay some money and get the phone you really want. You will be happier in the long run.
Re: shut off again?
it works great unless you have a shared account
Re: shut off again?
Yes, you have a spending limit on your account. Yes, it sucks when your phone gets shut off. Try this, get balance notification (2.99 a month) or better yet dont exceed your spending limit. As far going to a different carrier try doing it and you will see you wont get approved for anything less than a 500 deposit. You got approved with sprint for either a 0,125, or maybe 250. Sprint deposits dont ...
Re: Coverage?
sprint does the same thing every other carrier does, they show the map with all of the u.s. covered. this is a combination of their network and all of their roaming agreements. look at all of the major carriers maps(they are all almoast exact). if you want to see where their actuall network is look at the free and clear coverage map. for other carriers you will have to look at their pre-paid maps.
