That one phone?

It looked like a mirror and had a hidden display.. What was it called? I swear that it was made by this company before it got sold on eBay.

help!! sanyo scp 2700 GPS question

I have a question about the GPS Navigation system on the SCP 2700 phone. It allows you to store addresses as "Favorites" but all the addresses stored there automatically delete every so often! Is there a way to store them PERMANENTLY? It's really inconvenient to think you have an address stored then get in your car to go to that place and see that its gone... then have to go look it up again.

Is there like a guide to using the GPS on this phone, either online or in print somewhere?

Thanks 🙂

Sanyo Vero Photos Download

How do I download photos from my Sanyo Vero phone to my computer. I tried using a USB cable, but lacked software to enable the transaction. All the user manual does is talk about sending pix to other phones or printing them via pixbridge.

Sanyo Innuendo: Multitasking

I have the Sanyo Innuendo SCP-6780 and I am unable to multitask on it when listening to music. If I want to do anything else while listening to music I have to exit, which stops whatever song I'm listening to. Afterwards, I'd have to go back to the music player and restart the song if I want to continue listening to music. Unlike the last phone I had, which was under T-mobile, pressing the End button will just stop the music and give me the main menu.

Now, I would think that a phone capable of browsing the web would surely have the capability to allow music to play in the background while say, texting; I'll allow it to stop the music when I'm browsing or playing a game but at least allow me to do so with the other features on the phone.

I have a Sanyo 3100 that the data functions were disabled. Is there away, via a cable, I can get pictures off my phone? MMS is not an option.

Sanyo Katana Eclipse X

I am wondering if anyone knows when they are going to be releasing an update to fix the illumination text message issue. (an issue where when text messaged it will not light up what color you want unless it is set for a contact).

Help needed - Sanyo 9000 ESN

Had a Sanyo brick. Got a Sero Plan. Trying a Centro. More than I need and miss the voice quality of the 4900 I deactivated. Still time
to return Centro. Want a newer phone than 4900
but want the signal strength and, newer EVDO
web speed and tether capability. 4900 was slow
for web access and cumbersome -but fantastic
Chapter 2.
Rushed into an ebay buy on a Sanyo MM9000. Found out too late- ESN is still "active" and the wholesaler selling it can't deactivate it.

What's as good as a 9000 for voice/reception quality comparable to the 4900 in the Sanyo line
for Sprint. Katana doesn't sound like it ranks
in that class.. 9000 looks good but i screwed
up and didn't check the ESN first. Otherwise
looked like a great move u...

Rintone request

I posted this in the SCP7300 thread, but I'm hoping someone here can help me.

I am desperately looking for the "disco" ringtone that is a Sanyo OEM ringtone. Sorry for the silly request, but I have been looking for a LONG time. Any help is much appreciated.

I'm recording the audio on MM 8300, while committing(rc.commit() method below), it gives IOException.

But the phone supports audio capture and the media version is 1.1.

My code is given below...

Player p = Manager.createPlayer(");
RecordControl rc = (RecordControl) p.getControl(");
ByteArrayOutputStream baos = new ByteArrayOutputStream();
rc.startRecord(); p.start();
// Record for 30 secs

katana II vs. katana dlx

So I have researched my phone choice for years!!!! Anyway, the husband wanted a gps capable phone with sprint and after researching this for weeks ultimately decided he liked the katana dlx. So after spending all morning on the phone with sprint, he tells me he upgraded our phones and he ordered a katana for himself. I point out they have 2 differnet katana's out now. Of course he did not know this and got the II. Now he is too lazy to deal with sprint any longer. Anyway, is it stupid to settle for the II, or is it not a big deal. Any advice appreciated?

Sanyo M1?

Hello, i've been hearing rumors of a phone coming out in mid-November called the Sanyo M1. Rumored features are: 1 GB of internal memory, Bluetooth, EVDO, Readylink, and 2 Megapixel Camera? I was curious if anyone has seen or know of any pictures of this phone? I haven't been able to find any pictures anywhere on the net of this phone. If this is true I will probably hold off on the Sanyo 8400 and get this. I'm just hoping it has expandable memory as well because I have 2 GB right now in my MM-9000. Thank you...

☚ī¸ Something has caused a crack in the glass of the faceplate of my 6 month old black katana. It really is just the glass and not the screen. Does anyone have a suggestion about replacement or an approximate estimate of how much it would cost to replace?

Thank you!
