Sanyo Under Wraps...

Wouldn't ya know it... Sanyo has these two phones ready to be lunch in October, early November. Be ready for the Sanyo 4930, the upgrade of the 4920. Also on it's way is the Sanyo 9000. The 9000 will be a multimedia device, that may end being the replacement of the 5600. That's all Sanyo has on there plate for now, but I'm sure something else will soon be on it's way.

What ??? Sanyo MM-5600.......Discontinued????

šŸ˜² Why is it that the people at Sprint told me that this 5600 phone that cost me about $549.00 on April 1st, is being discontinued? I am so disappointed!!! I plan on selling my phone for about $200.00 (or a little less) Does anybody know why this phone is being discontinued already? It just came out around the end of March, I bought it on April 1st. What phone is supposed to replace it, or will it be replaced by another model?

Does anyone have a Sanyo 5600 and could help me?

The display on my Sanyo 5600 phone is broken and I can see only about the bottom 1/3 of the screen. Everything on the phone still works, including the camera, but I canā€™t see how to upload my pictures.

I got my replacement phone today, under an equipment replacement plan, but it is an entirely different phone altogether, so I canā€™t use the new phone as a guide to get the pictures off of the old phone. So I need to find someone who has this same model who is willing to go through the menu options with me and tell me how many times to arrow down or whatever to get to the ā€œupload to albumsā€Ā option. Itā€™s a Sprint phone but I donā€™t think that really matters in this case. Thanks to anyone who can help!

Sanyo MM-7400

Several weeks ago I purchased the MM-7400. After getting home with it, I have found that the reception is very poor. I used to get a full 4 bars of service with my old Sanyo 5600 when sitting at my office desk, now I only get 1 or 2. I have been sitting at my house and had a called dropped 3 times. Other times People leave messages on my voicemail and my phone never rang.

Has anyone else had these issues?

I had Sprint exchange the MM-7400 for another one, and I still have the same issues.

Anyone know where I can find...

A Mint Condition White/Lavender Sanyo 8100?
I've tried ebay but most of the people selling theirs aren't in the greatest condition so I was just wondering if anyone has one or knows a place that sells them. Also, I am willing to trade my phone for it.

Will Sanyo Phones Ever be Available on Other Carriers?

I was a Sprint PCS customer a few years ago, before I switched over to Nextel and now I currently have Verizon. I switched because my reception was shakey in most areas (Nextel was worse!). A few of my friends who have Sprint have Sanyo phones, and I will admit that I am quite impressed with them. Verizon, so far, has good area coverage, but the phones are only so-so. So I am asking anyone who works for Sanyo if they are just going to stay with Sprint, or quite possibly work with other carriers. I just think that the phones are more user friendly, have great features, and have a good reputation. Thank you.

mp3 player phone (Not another dumb question about mp3 ringers)

Just want to know if anyone else uses i tunes. I love the service, but it seems there is no way to use i tunes songs on a non-iPoddevice (i.e. 5600). Is there a way to convert my large music collection to a form usable on the sweetest phone ever made, or do I need to find a new LEGAL music download site?
