Yeah no kidding, it was getting pretty viscious. I'm tellin ya, that AberFitch dude goes ape sh*t if anyone says anything remotely negative about T-Mobile. I wasn't aware that T-Mobile had EDGE in some markets, so I made a statement of, "Cingular has faster data speeds than T-Mobile". So he flipped out claiming that I somehow was trash talking T-Mobile. That's where it all really started from :roll:

No way does it compare except in form factor. Past that, comparing the KOI to the S710 is like comparing a Ford Escort (KOI) to a Lamborghini Murcielago (S710a).

By far the worst one I'd have to say is the forum pertaining to the lawsuit against Verizon Wireless.
T-Mobile forum was a lil out of sync for a while with AberFitchDuDe87 trying to bash all the Cingular users, who then took to the T-Mobile forum and it pretty much turned Cingularians vs. T-Mobilians (which I was a part of :oops: ). It started on the Cingular forum at first then drifted over to T-Mobile forum. ...

And he's got every right to love his Nokia, but that doesn't mean he has to express it on the S710a forum. I think both of you are at fault, but I hold no grude ...

When I was with Nextel I had this problem many times, but only when texting back and forth with a Verizon subscriber. I had that problem happen to me once with Cingular, it was also with a Verizon subscriber. Maybe it's something on Verizons part?

How many V710's do you think have been sold and complained about since that post was put up? I'd bet alot of them. So yes, I can base my argument on that. Not when it pertains to the people who bought the phone prior to the FAQ being there, but as for the ones after, that's a different story. Thanks.

I doubt it will be for T Mobile because it includes the 800/850 band. It doesn't state there being one for Cingular and on for T-Mobile. With the V600, there was a 900/1800/1900 one and a seperate one for Cingular which replaced the 900 band with 850. Considering this one has them all, it'll more than likely be only on Cingular, the simple fact being it has all the bands in one. And we all ...

I am about 99% sure that you cannot use your phone as a modem on a Mac using a data cable. The only was I know of is using Bluetooth.

You need to understand somethings. Subliminal messaging was banned by the FCC in 1974.
Sony, who manufacturs the PS2 is a totally different company than Sony Ericsson. Sony's cellular division merged with Ericsson's cellular division. Sony Ericsson really has no major affiliation with Sony.

I can almost garauntee you'll be disappointed with the V710, just go and read all the negative feedback on it! Don't buy it, trust me, my cousin has one, there's nothing special about it, really! The camera on it is awful, don't be fooled by the "1.2 megapixel camera"... Megapixels dont = good image quality, only big image size, it's camera blows oversized donkey nuts!

I wouldn't be suprised if it was exclusive to Cingular, they put the 850 band on there for a reason, because it's going to be associated with Cingular, considering Cingular uses 800/850, unlike T Mobile and other GSM carriers. But of course, people will be able to buy it from 3rd parties to use with their T Mobile service.
I could really care less though, I wouldn't stoop so low to invest my money into a Motorola.

Thats gonna seem kind of strange though, you buy insurance and then alluva sudden you lose your phone.
Its kinda like the husband that buys family insurance policy on his family and alluva sudden they die mysteriously.
