When I used to work at a restaurant down the street, a famous actor (co-starred in the "Rush Hour" movies with Jackie Chan) would stop in about once a month. His mother was in every few days. Both were very cool, down to earth people.

We've got a Palm Pre on display and a customer "accidentally" put a pin on the phone.
Anybody know of a way to hard reset/master clear a Pre without being able to get to the home screen? (Like how with a Treo, you can hold power while inserting the battery...)

I got in an argument with a customer yesterday because he was sure that he didn't have any passwords. ANY! Not for his work email, not for his blackberry account, NONE! He also refused to go talk to his IT Dept (the person who set up his email account on the company server AND who set up his blackberry account) to get his login information.
I pulled up the blackberry account webpage, requested his PW using the device PIN, opened ...

Honestly, I can't believe you're putting this much work into a PPD customer. With us, once they have activated the number, our commission ends there. We usually don't go any further into it... "Your prepaid phone is f'ed up? I'm sorry to hear that. Walmart sells some inexpensive prepaid phones.....Next?"
