Shop Talk
Co-worker's quote:
After they left, I asked him what he made off of them. He proceded to list off several things (totaling about $50 that he will actually get for it). He concluded his list by saying:
"Dude, I just RAPED those lesbians".
Under the specific circumstances that he was speaking under, it made what he said HYSTERICAL! but in any other environment, it would have been crude, rude, etc...
Anybody else have a similar story?
With the largest middle class tax cut in history!
Unless you smoke, you have not recieved any sort of tax increase from President Obama.
PROMISES, PROMISES: Obama tax pledge up in smoke
WASHINGTON รยขรขโยฌโ One of President Barack Obama's campaign pledges on taxes went up in puffs of smoke Wednesday.
The largest increase in tobacco taxes took effect despite Obama's promise not to raise taxes of any kind on families earning under $250,000 or individuals under $200,000.

"I can make a firm pledge," he said in Dover, N.H., on Sept. 12. "Under my plan, no family making less than $250,000 a year will see any form of tax increase. Not your income tax, not your payroll tax, not your capital gains taxes, not any of your taxes."
He repeatedly vowed "you will not see any of your taxes increase one single dime."
2 things.
First, it is a LIE. "any form of tax increase" and "not any of your taxes".
Second, more properly discussed in the Lounge.
My apologies to the Shop Talk folks.
Don't want to pay higher taxes on your cigarettes? Simple - don't smoke them.
But nice strawman you've got there, anyway.
Looks like you can't understand words people say.
