Alright i am not trying to start the bickering over again but since you seem to be the guy to ask about nokia phones, what do you think of the 6670, is it better than the 6620?

Hey, just noticed this on Amazon.com. The status on the battery for the S710 has changed. It now says "In stock soon. Order now to get in line." Although a small step, it's a step in the right direction. Now everyone get all excited and crazy.

ill be honest in saying cingular is really starting to piss me off. You know they sent me that Christmas catalog with the s710a and a630 saying they would make great Christmas presents. Now i dont know who put that in there but the head of the advertising department should be fired because this wait is simply ridiculous now. Cingular you really need to get these phones out because the waits are unbearable.

Okay, I'm sure that it's become very obvious to everyone that the only talk on this board is about speculated release dates, I can only speak for myself when I say, it's getting pretty old. There's nothing left to talk about. We've all figured out the kinks and conks about the phone, we know it better than the backs of our hands. So I'm proposing something new right here...

Here's the scenario: What if Cingular, as well as Sony Ericsson dropped the bomb tomorrow that the S710a will not be released by Cingular nor Sony Ericsson for that matter, the the whole thing was cancelled for X reason. What would you do? What would you say? How would you react. Let me know 🙂 (Violence is encouraged) 😛

i work for cingular and have won one of the new s710a in a contest...I can't wait till i get the phone. i am allready checking out the accessories for the phone and everything. this phone if it acts right will >to be valley girl>totally rock

It's amazing how tense people are getting around here. Taking things that are obviously jokes as very serious. The delays around this phone are making people nuts I think...

Well, tomorrow is the scheduled day for final approval from Cingular. If I, or anyone else, can report on this approval or any other delays, please let us know.

People come on here claiming they know everything left and right, not everyone does, but a very select few do, and they come here claiming they know, but without a single thing to back up their claim. What good is that?

Im not pointing fingers at anyone particular, but calling a Cingular store and asking them is as useful as a one legged man in an ass kicking conest, cause they'll all tell you a different story, maybe some of th em are right, maybe not. I'll believe it when I see it.

on are excell spread sheet. it showes mid feb- late feb ta. and i copied and pasted this from the doc. "One issue remaining . . . Expecting new code by the 21st … T/A could be 2 to 3 weeks later" so this seems to go with the eta so far. i hav not been able to find any price for it. i hope this is helpfull.

4800 s710A's will be shipped to Cingular on the 27th. I am not sure of the price but there will be several shipments being made in the next couple of weeks according to Cingular's warehouse stock.

Maybe the phone is being delayed due to firmware upgrades that'll support the Memory Stick Duo Pro? It could be possible. I know the S700i doesnt support it either. But considering it's a Cingular exclusive, maybe Cingular wanted it to support the Duo Pro as a nice gesture to their customers. 😁 You never know 😳

From what you know about this phone and so forth, what are the things you don't like about it.

The one and only thing about it that bugs me is that it doesn't support Memory Stick Duo Pro, and that's about it.

Wouldn't it be awesome if the S710a was being delayed because they were upgrading the phone in order to use Memory Stick Duo Pro's? I think that's be great!!! 😁 The wait would be worth it if that was the case. Well, it would also be worth it if it was being delayed because of bugs as well, but Memory Stick Dup Pro support would be tits! 😁

Pretty stylish little phone from SE - Japan only for now... :-(
