What If..?
Okay, I'm sure that it's become very obvious to everyone that the only talk on this board is about speculated release dates, I can only speak for myself when I say, it's getting pretty old. There's nothing left to talk about. We've all figured out the kinks and conks about the phone, we know it better than the backs of our hands. So I'm proposing something new right here...
Here's the scenario: What if Cingular, as well as Sony Ericsson dropped the bomb tomorrow that the S710a will not be released by Cingular nor Sony Ericsson for that matter, the the whole thing was cancelled for X reason. What would you do? What would you say? How would you react. Let me know 🙂 (Violence is encouraged) 😛

I work for a Cingular dealer, & I am anxiously awaiting the phone's release (like everyone else). Unlike everyone else, I get one for free b/c of a contest that Sony Ericsson has going for Cingular reps. See www.miiphq.com/traingainse
1st 40 reps in my market to sell a set amount of SE products win a s710a for free, to be shipped when phone is released. I would be pissed if the phone got scrapped!

i hear ya, Im great lakes region cingular corporate, was it as much a scramble for you guys as it was for us to be one of the qualifying reps to reach the 500 mark, we were lucky, our region had 93 spots i was 37 of 93 thank you 🙂

I'm in a "C" market (Carolinas). Only 40 reps get the s710a. It was a major scramble... I remember teetering on 450 points, watching more spots go by the hour on Thursday of the 1st week of the contest. It was nerve wracking, trying to get that last sale to hit 500 pts.

I'd get to work DDOS the SE and Cingular websites - i'd make sure no one would be able to visit those sites as long as the phone was not being released. Once they'd release the phone they could have their sites back! :-)
