The have arrived in the store

I just got 2 new V3's to sell at my store. Now if we only had some customers that might want to spend $500.00 for a new phone.

FYI. It is packaged with the phone, battery, rear cover, and a key chain. That's all.

Owner Keypad Likes or Dislikes?

For any or all new V3 owners that have had a few days to use their RAZR, what do you like or dislike about that flat keypad? Does it have any tactile feedback?

-Thanks

V3's Built

I got my V3 a couple of days ago. I am really happy with it. But the flip seems a little loose on the top right hand side. When I close it, I feel like the top is a bit loose. However, it is very solid when it's all the way open. Can someone tell me if this is normal or am I just being paranoid? Should I return the phone and get a new one or is it just me??

Please let me know because I paid a lot of money for this and I want to make sure that there is nothing wrong with it.
By the way, what does the one year warranty from Motorola cover?

Thanks
Brian

mMode settings for the Razr

Hi everyone, I'm an AT & T Wireless customer and I bought my Razr at a Cingular store. I created a new "Web Session" for my mMode service with ATTWS with the following parameters but I get a message saying "Data Sever not available". Does anyone have any idea if I'm missing other parameters? I'm using the WAP 2.0 Gateway IP from ATTWS:

V3 and Cingular Insurance

😎

Anyone who needs insurance information would need to check out the following links:

http://www.cingular.com/customer_service/phone_insur ... »

http://www.cingular.com/customer_service/phone_insur ... »

Now Cingular CANNOT deny insurance coverage on any phone to new customers or its current customers -- that spells class action lawsuit... I work for an insurance company so every corporate company is obligated in some way shape or form to insure its business as well as its employees and equipment.

I'm still getting used to the menu but so far I am getting the hang of it and the reception is great unless you are in downtown nyc with all those high rise buildings, then you'll have some static. I still want to find a ...

Got my RAZR V3 Today, and it's UNLOCKED!

I knew that I wouldn't have a problem, since everyone that got a Cingular phone (different model) in my office had no problem using my AT&T SIM.

Anyway, the RAZR V3 iS NICE. It's SOLID, and VERY thin. The display is like no other phone I've ever seen.

I've only tried the Bluetooth with my Jabra Freespeak 250 and it works fantastic. I put the phone down and went into the other room and was still able to talk with the same signal strength as I was when I was right next to the phone.

I highly recommend this phone.

V3 No Incurance??

I myself will not buy this phone if cingular doesnt offer incurance. This phone is way to fragile with a glass outer plate and the phone is so skinny it can easily fall out of you pocket while sitting down. Im not going to buy a 500 dollar phone and not have a replacement if i drop it once and breaks.

Keypad volume?

Anyone else's keypad volume seem extremly low. I have the level turned up all the way to 7 and can barely hear the tones. The audio style is also set to loud. That would be annoying if that's really how loud it is.

Bye the way, my Sony Ericsson hbh-30 headset seems to work great with the phone.

Popped in my T-Mobile Sim Card...

I've been reading this forum for about 3 weeks now.

My T-Mo contract expired today and I went to a Cingular corporate store and picked up a V3.

Before I bought it I popped in my T-Mo Sim card, placed a call and it worked great. The reps said someone had done the same thing with a v551 a day earlier.

I also got insurance on the phone. The rep at the store was having some problems with my activation so she had to call into Cing. customer service (I assume that's who she was talking to). The CS rep on the phone said insurance was available. So if something happens to this phone and they don't cover me, they will have some serious talks with my lawyer.

I got the phone with a 1 year contract for $549.00. That sucks, but I had to ...

DO NOT order from wirefly

Man. Only 24 hours and what an experience. I ordered a V3 yesterday. Was told that I'd have it on Thursday, which was good because my 30-day trial with AT&T (audiovox 5600) expires on Friday. My plan was to get the V3 and then let go of the 5600.

I called today to check in on everything. Was told that I would have to get a new number - and that the phone wouldn't get to me until middle of next week at the earliest. Oh, and they entered all my billing info incorrectly, so it might not go through at all.

I've since talked to 3 different supervisors. They're going to try their best to get the phone to me on Friday. With my current phone number. If not, I'll just cancel tomorrow and get a temporary phone from Cingular while I wait ...

Ordered V3 from website.....backordered?

Hi...I'm new here and I've been wanting the V3 for a while now, so when I saw it on the Cingular website I ordered it. I place my order on 11-11-04. Now when I go to the link provided to check status it says that it is on back order. How come everyone else here seems to be getting theirs? Maybe I haven't given them the whole 5 business days yet? Do you guys think I have a chance of getting this phone this month or will I be waiting until first of the year like my local Cingular rep says. Oh yeah...I'm from Connecticut if that helps.
Thanks

V3...How do I??

Just got mine from Cingular. It's a beautiful phone.

Never owned a Motorola before, and the manual that came with Cingular's package is lacking in a lot of subjects. I was wondering if I can come to the Phonescoop public for help.

How do I:

- set recurring alarm for specific days (e.g. M-F)
- change ring tone!
- download/create mp3 ringtone from my computer using bluetooth (the manual only showed the ability for upload using bluetooth transfer)

I'm sure I'll have more questions later, thanks in advance.

Does anyone get 6-7hr battery life?!

Cingulair advertises a 7hr battery life and i find it hard to believe such a slim battery could produce such a long life. In your response please state whether you are using a bluetooth headset...i realize that drains your battery much faster and im sure battery testing didn't use this option. And if you are using it on the Cingulair network or using an unlocked phone...they always say network conditions affect the battery as well.

Thanks guys!

Agents Haven't Even Seen Live Phones

I'm trying to figure out who has all the phones 😉 It isn't the agent stores, at least not in CT. I stopped by three today while I was out and about, one received their non-working display phone today, none had any stock to sell.

I'm not sure where the bottleneck is. No one is really reporting any stock - five here, two there. They must be somewhere.

I DO think there will be a lot of the 19,000 reps that earned a V3 in the contest selling their phones on eBay because they'd rather have cash (one just posted today). But those come with a lot of accessories and that infamous "jewelry box." I'm expecting they will want more than $600, and they shoyuld, because you get the USB data cord, the Bluetooth earpiece, etc. But I'm hearing t...
