Man. Only 24 hours and what an experience. I ordered a V3 yesterday. Was told that I'd have it on Thursday, which was good because my 30-day trial with AT&T (audiovox 5600) expires on Friday. My plan was to get the V3 and then let go of the 5600.

I called today to check in on everything. Was told that I would have to get a new number - and that the phone wouldn't get to me until middle of next week at the earliest. Oh, and they entered all my billing info incorrectly, so it might not go through at all.

I've since talked to 3 different supervisors. They're going to try their best to get the phone to me on Friday. With my current phone number. If not, I'll just cancel tomorrow and get a temporary phone from Cingular while I wait ...

It seems like the reps will tell you anything to get you to order. I had a very similiar experience about a week ago. At least cancellation was quick - that they got done on time :-)

I ordered from there and so far everything has been going fine. My credit was approved in less than 24 hours and they said it would take 24-48 hours to program the phone (which is reasonable) so I will check it out tommorow.
