sprint telesales

I am coming to dread calls from telesales. They generally don't understand what the customer wants or they communicate very poorly. This makes me reluctant to make changes to accounts without speaking to the customer but sales won't transfer or conference them. And they have some of the most obnoxious scripting. *sigh*

Can you credit me for the phone that is on backorder?

cx had an issue with the phone being on backorder...then wanted me to credit him for the phone for his inconvenience of waiting 1 day so far.

cx: I would appreciate consideration to have the $29.00 plus tax fee waived for this inconvenience?
me: Just to clarify, you are wanting to have the cost of the phone waived?
cx: Yes...I believe it was $29.00 and totalled out to $32. and change?
me: Unfortunately, I will not be able to credit the amount of the phone to make the phone free, as the promotion that we are offering the phone for is currently $29.99.
cx: so, for this inconvenience Sprint is not willing to do anything for me?

Wow help ppl out

Lady says her phone won't download pics because they are too large. I say so you can't recieve but you can send. She says yes.

Later she says she can't send but can recieve. I say you said the other way a second ago. She blows up "Great now your going to argue with me". Ummmm, what?

She then says she should have gone to this other store.

I do what she asked and replaced her SIM make a successful send of pic msg. Then she says all my picture msg are gone. I'm like 'ah crap, happens everytime I try and help'. I really should have just walked away and said 'sorry can't help you'

BTW this all started when she walked in singing to herself and then saying you'll have to talk me into another phone cuz I love my razr v3xx. I told her the...

Look man, you barely speak English, and that wouldn't normally be a problem for me, I can sit down and be patient with you if you need something but you're leaning on my desk RIGHT NOW AS I TYPE THIS not saying a word to me and you've been here for 10 minutes randomly saying whatever stupid crap comes to your mind.

Leave me alone. My blood pressure is rising, I can feel it as you stand there doing absolutely nothing.

I'll ask you again, right now, IS THERE anything at all I can help you with....

Two weeks :-D

I just put in my two week notice today (but effective for yesterday). My last day will be on Friday, July 16.

Been a pleasure reading all of you here in Shop Talk, since the second I say anything in the Lounge, I get jumped on like the last available offer in sales hell. 🙂

Kudos and thanks to my faves, both online and off: ACSer4Sprint, ochne, retrocool, ecycled, this_troper, amarantamin, rainbow_metals, sprintchickwv, and so many more that I'm forgetting.

Moving on to a well-known search engine, I'll be starting in Abuse (inappropriate content management) but will be moving to Engineering in a few months in California. Won't have much of a need to be here anymore, so I bid you all a fond adieu if I don't see you again 🙂

Funny call

So I get a call from an agent in finance, after my opening script, this is what happened:

Rep:Hi, a tech agent help set up a custys auto-pay account, and it was deducted from the wrong account, and now the cust has over draft fees.

Me:Okay, has the cust already switched her auto-pay to the correct account?

Rep: Yes, she has, but what happened is she got over draft fees...

Me: So is she like, wanting a credit for the fees?

Rep: Yes.

Me: Oh ok, unfortunately I can't credit for another departments error in CUSTOMER CARE, if tech made the error, they make the credit.

Rep: Well your department set it up, you make the credit, I know YOU specifically didn't set this up, but you're department screwed up.

I hate store reps!!!!

This guy goes into a store to look around, he still has a contract with U.S. Cell and wants us to give him money for his ETF with them.

And of course the store rep tells the cust "Oh yeah, just call care they can do that for you. No prob!!"

Sorry sir we dont have anything available for that, even when we did offer suck a thing it was gor ports from Verizon only, not U.S.


NO I FRIGGIN CAN'T, even if a store rep said I can!!!!

3:30, 3rd potential customer, first ACTUAL customer.

We've been open since 11am. There's 2 people here, and I'm pretty sure it wasn't necessary because I definitely need the money.

But damn. 3 people have come into the store all day and my coworker just made our first transaction of the day.

Good thing time's going by fast.
