Its been such a wonderful weekend here in PA but I am stuck working alone in the store all weekend. So I am just wondering if the ones out there that have to work today what would you have done if you had off today?

The customer called in with a laundry list... The first 20 minutes was her explaining to me about this stalker of hers, and how it relates in great detail to her phone bill. Then ptn change. 50 minutes long... :|

Still not as bad as having to activate/program a Palm Pre, then ptn change, then re-program earlier. Customers...

what do you think..? 🙄 do companies usually ship things on holidays, let alone deliver on the holiday?

Customer: I need a car charger and screen protectors. How much would that be?

Me: It is usually $38 together but I will give you $5 off for buying them together!

Customer: Well best buy has it for $20 total

Me: Good for them!

I don't care about best buy people!

So I'm on the line with a lady from New York who is paying more attention to her kids than me even though she called me to order a phone and the conversation is mostly like this:

Me: So it looks like the Sony Erickson Equinox would be the best phone for you based on what you're telling me. That comes in a black or blue..what color would you prefer?

Customer: I'd like it in silver

grrrrrrrrrrrrrr..the conversation proceded in the same stupid fashion.

What's the funniest thing a customer has ever said to you?

1. "I'm not mad at you.... its not your fault I just..." *cust keeps b****ing

2. "You need to learn how to speak American."

3. "The phone has to be under warranty. There's just water under the screen..."

Today my last day at work!! Our call center is closing down today. Last day of ever talking to selfish, rude, condescending customers! Last time dealing with idiot old people, foreign arseholes (who mean well, but ffs come on) and no more rolling my eyes, sighing and cursing on mute! No more asking the mundane questions, no more being blamed to at&t's sh***y service!! Today is the last day I will ever have to read one of those stupidly formatted bills, have to explain how to make a payment, be asked ridiculous questions, with obvious answers! LAST TIME I WILL BE ASKED "WHEN ARE YOU GETTING MORE IPHONE 4'S IN STOCK!" YAHHHOOOO!!!!

So I had a customer call me today, wanting to know why her Blackberry wasn't working internationally. The customer had called us two days ago, and was told that as a T-Mobile flexpay customer, she could roam in Canada, Mexico, Hati and the Dominican Republic only. She's in Mexico and only has an 'SOS'. I had her do a manual network selection, and none of the networks matched up with the partners we use...

Me: Where are you at right now?

Cust: Grand Caymen

Me: *facepalm* I apologise, but you are not currently in Mexico. Grand Cayman is it's own network, and you cannot roam there.

Now the customer begins to flip out, screaming that she was lied to, and how she won't be able to use her phone until she gets to Cozumel. I apologize ag...

I am calling because we have returned mail for your account

No not your bank, Sprint your cellphone carrier

Why is it people call up to ask a question about their service but do not SHUT UP to let to respond and take care of the issue? I had an idiot who I had to warn three times to let me give him the info. But I finally dumped the call.

He is, I'm sure, STILL talking!
