Another, why is it...
Why is it people call up to ask a question about their service but do not SHUT UP to let to respond and take care of the issue? I had an idiot who I had to warn three times to let me give him the info. But I finally dumped the call.
He is, I'm sure, STILL talking!

I envy your ability to disconnect the call like you would not believe.

Give them a warning and if they keep going, dump the call. How are you helping if you both are at an impass. We are so deep in calls there is a 2 to 3 sec break between them. My call time says move on.

And then I'd be on unemployment again.
Company policy on that is frustrating, but I have to try and trigger them to ask for a supervisor if we're at an impasse. It'd be easier and a lot kinder to the reps if we could disconnect an abusive caller.
