Holy crap how do they manage to breathe?

Wow, best dumbass customer ever. Twice. No, make that three times. So this guy comes up and my co-worker helps him, does the credit check (no deposit) and then explains the rate plans. The guy says he wants to think about it and he'll come back.

He comes back while my co-worker is helping someone else, so I help him out. I pull everything up, offer him a $30 discount on a Pantech c300(almost a 50% discount), and go over the rate plans with him. He asks for the 900 minute plan with Media Works, coming up to $75. I go through everything with him, get to the feature selection page, and explain the extended nights option ($8.99 for nights being 7pm-7am). I clearly said how much it costs and he said he wanted it.

Why would you ask something when the answer is that obvious?

I just had a guy walk up and point at the Pantech c300 phone that we have on display and say "Is that phone really pretty small?"

Are you serious? You're looking at it. It's f*cking tiny. Have you ever seen a phone that small before? It's like half the size of any of the other phones in the display case with it. Dumbass.

coworkers and comission

I work in a large shopping center in when I'm bored I go around and talk to the other workers in various stores. a worker in another store came in when I wasn't there and talked to a coworker about buying some phones and plans but didn't do it. today the person came in and signed up for service with me even though my coworker was there. the question is was it wrong for me to take the sale?

My car got hit

So I'm here at work, got done servicing a customers question...she leaves. Comes back in about 3 mins later asking who's gray car is outside. It was mine. She says "well you're okay, but I have damage." She backed out of her parking spot directly into my car. Thanks for telling me, I have no damage on my car, however my barbed wire license plate bracket chewed the paint off of her bumper 🤣 It wasn't at its best moment until she told me that I needed to park somewhere else. Because it's an inconvienence for her to have to dodge my vehicle when she wants to back out of her parking spot and go the wrong way down a one way parking zone... GEESH PEOPLE!

Where's your Sprint guy?

I work at a Cingular kiosk in a mall. I just had a random guy walk up and say "Hey, where's your Sprint guy?". My response was simply "We don't have a Sprint guy" and he walked away. My Sprint guy? What the hell?

Memo: Illinois VZW Corporate Stores

Attention Central Illinois Corporate Stores for VZW. I am an indirect location. I can NOT access a customers account by phone number and password alone. I HAVE to have the last 4 of the SS#. To make ANY changes on the account, auth user or not, I HAVE to have the full Ss# to get in to do it. So sending mommy and daddy's college student to me isn't going to help you. All I can do is call it in, and we get yelled at for each call we can't resolve on our own through e*roes. I DO NOT do phonebook transfers for free for YOUR customers. Quit sending them to ME with the idea that I do it for free. I've argued with about 5 or 6 ppl this week alone that say they have been told by your location(s) that it can be done at any VZW location, wheth...

The Craziest Customer EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So, this customer of mine came in yesterday griping about how her battery wasn't holding a charge and this and that and the another damn thing. She was almost in tears and was telling me her battery made her stress so much that she has been fasting for the last THREE DAYS!!!! I don't know whether to laugh or to feel bad. I've exchanged her battery out twice and exchanged the entire phone itself out twice, spend an hour everytime she comes in explaining how take care of the battery and urged her to get our extended warranty which covers the battery as well as the phone against manufacture defects and she doesn't f***in listen. Why the hell are people so retarded and so melodramatic that they will starve themselves because they don't know how ...

mystery shoppers

so i got mystery shopped last week and of course i scored 100 on it. Two questions that were not for any points on it make no sense whatsoever. They stated that i carry all of the other carriers in my store when i am a agent for one company.There is nothing in my store that would make someone think that i carry another company. If i did i could lose my contract with my carrier. Its just not worth it. Also they stated i discussed a plan between $45-$55 per month. No plan exists. WTF? So did i really deserve the 100 score? I am pretty effeciant when helping someone and get praised by my rep on the way i handled customers so i am confused.

Anyone else have this or something similair happen to them?

So before even clocking in this morning a couple approached our Cingular kiosk. They looked at us with a blank stare for a while. Here's the conversation (C=customer, E=employee):

C: Smith?

E: What?

C: Smith? Smith.

E: ..........

C: Smith? Brad?

E: What are you getting at?

C: Smith? Is there a Smith here?

E: Well...I don't see him here.

C (looking at business card in hand): Smith? Brad?

E: We don't have anyone with that name here.

C: Smith? Brad?

E: Let me see that card. (customer shows me the card) Yeah, that says Qwest on it.

C: (blank stare)

E (pointing to the Qwest booth like four feet away from us): It's right there.

They just walked over there like there was nothing wrong or stupid a...

Why do people come in here wanting to upgrade their phones not knowing their phone number and not even having the phone? Do these f***in people think I'm psychic or something or that I can just pull their out of my a**. This guy got pissed of at me because I couldn't look up his upgrade eligibility. Remember your number or bring it in with you. It's not rocket science!!

I had a customer who called today and he literally screwed himself. First, the account is in his wife's name. He is an authorized user on the account though. He has a Cingular 3125. He initial had the Media Max 200 package which has the unlimited internet access. About a week ago, his wife called in and changed it to a Media Basic package which only includes 1MB. Well, he did not find out until today. So, he called in to see if we could change it back and credit the overages he already had totaling 108034kb or $1080.34. None of which has been charged/billed yet.


Well, at the same time his wife changed the plan, she also added an account password and a priority note stating that no changes were to be made without verification of the pas...

stupid...really...

This lady comes in bitching that she has no service at her house and she wants to cancel her line. I ask where she lives and find out that she's only about a mile from my house. We have full coverage around that entire area. I suggest that there may be a problem with the phone. She pulls it out and it's a Cingular phone. I explain to her that I'm an agent for VZW and I don't know enough about the Cingular phones and coverage in her area to be able to help her very much. She then swears up and down that we sold her the phone. It's not possible. We've never been an agent for Cingular. I explain this to the woman and suggest a few Cingular stores within a 1/2 hour of here that may have sold her the phone.

i wonder what guys do?

I just had to call vzw tech suppport to have a new pda overnighted to one of my customers. When he came in he was reasonably angered by running around trying to get it (moto Q) to work... He wanted to exchange it- but guess what- i don't have anymore and by the time i get one it will be passed his exchange date... I'm getting tired of his bitching because i'm really honestly just trying to help him the best way i can and i notice him looking at my cheast... so while i'm on the phone with tech supp for 20 minutes i posistioned myself in to have decent cleveage (give him something to look at not too much)... by the time he left he was smiling and thanked me for all my help... basically give a guy something to look at while he's being inconv...

What a good day......

I love days like this. You've had enough of peoples crap that you just fire back stupidity all day long and don't care.

Had a "visitant" come in this morning. He's a regular in here, but never purchases anything. Everytime he comes in we always get in the Direct vs. Indirect argument. He had his POS Audiovox 8910 replaced at a corporate store about a month ago. Now his antenna is broken. He came in here expecting me to just give him a replacement antenna out of my inventory at no cost. When he told me that this company is stupid, and I'm stupid for not helping him... I just looked back at him and said "Well, So are you!" Then he walked out the door.

I only hope I can deal with about 20 more of these crabasses today.

Authorized Retailers...GET YOUR SH** STRAIGHT!!

Im sick and tired of customers coming in to the corporate store i work at and telling me that the AR they bought their phone from told them about a deal we have going on when in fact we do not have it at all!!! these AR's need to get their facts straight, instead of just worrying about 'numbers' put the customer first for once... anyone have any stories about this? i have to many to tell on here...
