I had a customer who called today and he literally screwed himself. First, the account is in his wife's name. He is an authorized user on the account though. He has a Cingular 3125. He initial had the Media Max 200 package which has the unlimited internet access. About a week ago, his wife called in and changed it to a Media Basic package which only includes 1MB. Well, he did not find out until today. So, he called in to see if we could change it back and credit the overages he already had totaling 108034kb or $1080.34. None of which has been charged/billed yet.
Well, at the same time his wife changed the plan, she also added an account password and a priority note stating that no changes were to be made without verification of the pas...

😕 On the data features jump page, it states that backdating data plans will not avoid overages. It just causes the ppu charges and the proration of the mrc. I don't think it's possible to backdate to cover the overage, but it would have been possible to rerate.
Going to the OOP was a little extreme, to say the least.

I try to tell people that all the time, when they sound like they are going to have a hard time explaining something to the insurance company or customer care and they already look a bit excitable i forewarn them that people shut down when others start being assholes and stop being helpful altogether.
