great way to start the day...

I pull in 20 minutes before the store opens and there are 2 people sitting in their cars waiting. As I walk up, they get out and follow me to the door. I explain to them that I have certain things I have to do to get the store ready for the day and as soon as I'm done, I'll help them. I wasn't even going to be a jerk and make them wait outside.

The one lady says "I just need a prepay phone. That should only take 2 minutes". I told her that was great and all, but I couldn't do anything until the store was set to be open. She got all huffy and sat at the desk with a nasty look on her face.

The other guy sitting here is in all the time to complain about everything. He especially likes to threaten to take his numbers to Nextel b...

How do they get away with it??????

I have worked in wireless for a long time now, but I saw something the other day that I could not believe! I work in the mall and I was just chatting to the t-mobile rep, as I was standing there, a customer came up to the booth to see if she could qualify for a phone. the rep gathered her info, and ran her credit. it came back with a $500 deposit, then he said "watch this" he changed a few digits in her ss# until it came back with a $0 deposit. I was disgusted!! I could not believe I saw this guy commit identity theft right in front of me!! and that isn't the only thing, i have heard a lot of stories about this dealer and how really shady they are. I would never buy anything from them.

And the idiot award goes to......

A customer came in to pay her bill of $37.98, she gives me a $50, so she is owed $12.02 in change, so far you are all with me right?

Well, even though she gave me $50, I tendered $500 by accident. I though no big deal, as long as I give her the correct change, right

No such luck!!

The b!tch actually wanted $462.02 back in change b/c that is waht the receipt says she was owed!!!!

I tried explaining, but simple math was too much for the moron!!!!

Overseas Third Party Support Vendors

I wish all wireless carriers would terminated any and all third party vendor relationships that dealt with direct contact of customers like CSRM call centers who can not speak English that can be comprehended and understood without having an interpreter!
I believe the primary reason wireless carriers use third party CSRM call centers over in India and the Phillipines is the financial savings regarding training and benefits versus using their own people for these positions. Hey, why pay John Doe $10/hr when Sanjay Patel will do it for $10/day?
The only ones I've actually been able to understand 100% of the time over the phone without having to ask the person to repeat themself have been the third party CSRM call centers located ...

go away stalker

Just had a guy asking me if I could tell him the name associated with a phone number. |

Customer: I think my ex changed her number, but I'm not sure. I keep calling and leaving messages, but I don't know if it's her number. If I give you the number, can you tell me the name on the account?

Me: I'm sorry, but unless the account is in your name, I can't release any information.

Customer: Well if it's not her number then I'm harassing the wrong person.

Me: Unfortunately I can't help you. Perhaps you could consider other means of trying to contact this person. I can't be of any further assistance in this matter.

Customer: OK...name your price.

Me: What???? 😳

Customer: Yeah...I'll pay you for the info.

It's Punishement

I want to scream at someone. I'm slightly hungover, tired and grumpy. I have no tolerance for stupidity at this point.

I just spoke to a lady that wanted to upgrade. She is currently ineligible due to the number of suspensions on her account. You know what she says when I tell her this?

"Is this punishment for not paying my bill on time?"

All I could say is, "Yes, ma'am...Thats exactly what it is..."

She hung-up on me...

Shoot me...

Nope, that's not it either.

She could not remember her own number. She was ADAMENT that what she was giving me was correct. I read it back to her no less than 7 times. It wasn't right.

She said "Then I need you to get customer care on the line and have them tell you so you can get it right."

Customer care won't release that, they're not allowed. You should know your own number woman.

The REAL reason sprint cancels thier customers....

So I've figured it out...Finally. The real reason sprint put in this 25+ calls to customer service disconnect thing.

I thought of all the problems customers have with thier phones. I thought of all the billing nightmares such as back/future dating, prorates and all that. I've come to a conclusion.

There is ONLY ONE group of people that needs to call customer service more than 25 times a month.

Sprint: Thanks for calling sprint! How can I help you?
Custy: I'd like to upgrade to my free iPhone.

Deaf People Can be Perverts Too...(long)

So I'm sitting here happily opening my tills this morning and I get a phone call about 10 minutes before we open.

I usually ignore these calls until 10 am but I'm in a pretty good mood, I'm done opening, and I'm alone in the store so I figure I'll answer.

It was a relay call from a deaf person. You know the kind where you talk "through" the operator?

Well it goes well at first; says he's from the Deaf Alliance of RandomState and he wants to move over 19 lines from Sprint...I'm going on vacation this month and that would pretty much put me at my reduced quota so needless to say I'm getting a little excited.

We go over the details and he says great he'll bring the Tax ID and Sprint info.

Then this happens:
O=Operator (speaking ...

Gotta love working Sundays!

Store wasn't even open an hour yet and some jackass sets off the iphone alarm!!! GREAT!! What makes it even better the only one who has the alarm code is the manager who never answers the phone on her day off. 😡

Boo Freaking Hoo!

So this woman just kind of rubbed me the wrong way.

She was transfered from customer care where they told her that she could purchase the air card for $200 with no contract extension. She wanted more than that. We told her she could buy it for $150 with a one year contract.

That wasn't good enough either (it's what everybody else on the planet gets.) she wanted a free air card with NO contract.

Then we got to the part about having to actually pay for the service and that got her upset all again.

But what really annoyed me was how she didn't get mad so much as got all whiny. Like a little kid whining, 'oh poor me, that's too much, I could never afford that.' pissing and moaning.

She just made herself out to be SO pathetic be...

There's a kid in here trying to fog up our entire display case with his breath. Am I allowed to spray him with windex to get him to stop?
