i hate little ghetto boys that walk up to my stand and say "how much it cost to get me a phone?"

well dear, first of all you need to be 18! second, have credit.

they ask how much is a contract.....i say, depends on how many minutes to neeed, what your deposit will (undoubtably) be, and blah blah....

oh...walks away.

i konw they are just questions, and its not tough to answer them but i just cant take it today....

Executive Relations

Ok, so a little while ago, we were instructed to not provide ANY credits to an account unless absolutly needed, as we were giving out too much credits as a whole, so no problem there. This was handed down by our current leader of the pack so to say, the head honcho of the entire area. Just today, we recieve a bunch of complaints from Executive Relations (NOT our bonifide leaders) that because of high levels of "complaints" we're now supposed to offer 50% of all charges "in dispute by the customer".

But we're still not allowed to give out any credits unless they're not valid charges.

Each area can write us up.

2 reps have been written up for this so far, for giving the credits.

So what the hell are we supposed to do? Follow one ...

Family plans....

so, an old guy comes in asking about family plans. looks at our offerings, tells us that his current usage is not more than 200 min. a month.

my co-worker lets him know that he would be able to get our 700 min. plan, with x phones, for x $ a month.

He asks if we could just CUT THAT AMOUNT (I assume price and minutes ) IN HALF, and give him that.

๐Ÿ˜ณ ๐Ÿ˜ณ ๐Ÿ˜ณ ๐Ÿ˜ณ ๐Ÿ˜ณ ๐Ÿ˜ณ ๐Ÿ˜ณ ๐Ÿ˜ณ

and he just stood there, expecting us to suddenly change our company's policy. He THEN asked when we would get a plan that would be more suited to his ind. needs. ๐Ÿคฃ ๐Ÿคฃ ๐Ÿคฃ ๐Ÿคฃ ๐Ÿคฃ ๐Ÿ˜ˆ

he asked if he could call the company and get that magical rate. ๐Ÿ‘€ ๐Ÿ‘€

THEN he told us that Sprint had a family p...

To Non English Speaking Citizens, and NON Citizens........

I do not speak Spanish. I never will. I have no plans on moving to your country therefore, I have no plans on learning your language. I do not know where the local T-Mo store is, because there isn't one within 30 miles of me. I can not give you directions to the nearest T-Mo store in English, so I'm definately not going to be able to tell you in another language. I sell Verizon, Not T-Mo. Therefore, I do not take payments for anyone but Verizon. Thank you, and have a nice day.

Signed,

Not That Difficult.

I do not understand how this is such a difficult concept.

I get this caller saying "I want to buy a new phone." (in response to me "Can I help you order an accessory for your phone or a line of service today?" scripted question.)

Now I have to determine does he want a new activation or an upgrade.

I can ask "Is this as a new activation or a handset upgrade." but that never works. I don't understand how this is a confusing question. Are we activating a new line of service or replacing an existing phone.

I ask exactly that. Will this phone have a new phone number or is it using a phone number you already have. "I need a new phone." is the response.

It took ten minutes to get him to clarify that it was an upgrade, he just coul...

Are you an idiot?

This question just made me want to say "Are you an idiot?"

I was very proud of myself, I didn't say it.

"Can dat be mailed to ma bill?"

I am pretty sure she was asking to bill the cost of the battery to her account but come on, that was just idiotic. At least learn to form a coherent sentence!

A little too far...

Hi, this is Stan Sigman and I want to talk with you about a few things before our industry changes forever.
We are rapidly approaching the launch date for the iPhone. The iPhone will change our industry dramatically. After this launch, dates in wireless history will be thought of as either "B-I" or "A-I" โ€” before iPhone or after iPhone.

The start of his Thank you letter to us care rep. Please B.I. A.I. I had no idea this phone was divine.

The donation box...seriously...

I just had someone come into my store about an hour ago. He came in and seemed pretty out of it. (I'm in a downtown location, this isn't strange) He slammed a cingular phone down and insisted someone here, an older bald guy (we have no such employee), had ordered a charger for his phone.

First off, this is completley unpossible. We don't have ATT chargers and don't have a way of getting them. But I grabbed an a950 charger off the wall and sure enough it worked.

This guy has been talking a mile a minute the entire time he was in the store.

So I ring him out for the charger, and as I suspected, he doesn't have any money. He started mentioning something about a trade in program so he could trade in phones for cash. We just got su...

Recently...

So recently I have been very confused by our customer care department.

I've had at least 3 that I can remember who have been unable to transfer a customer to me.

They use the same software for phone control as I do.

It's not that hard. The last one just hung up on me because she couldn't figure it out.

Very strange. Are they not training them properly? Or is their software defective? I've asked them to describe their interface and it matches mine exactly.
