Which do you guys prefer?

We all get know-it-all customers who come in and won't take anything we say at face value. "You think Motorola has slipped in recent years and that their phones are poorly designed and implemented, and that I should go with LG? Well I happen to know that Motorola is AMERICAN, and that makes it better than any piece-of-junk Korean brand!"

Customers will try to correct us, catch us in lies, and do just about anything to get a deal. We all know this.

However, there are 2 basic types of these customers - the ones that correct you when they have absolutely no clue what they're talking about: "I know you have a $10/month plan for 20 minutes, my grandmother has it, give it to me! ๐Ÿ˜ก ... NO, it's not discontinued! She still has it! Why aren...

wow jealousy!

ok i just did an ESN change for a guy and his wife/girlfriend (whatever). while i was programming the phone, i grabbed a business card and handed it to the guy. his wife grabbed it out of his hands and looked at it, roller her eyes at him, then ripped it up! i just turned around as if not to see, and once the phone was done i just set it on the counter and said, you're all set, have a good day. to this the woman says, oh we will.

Are you for real?

This lady just told me she wanted to pay her balance...

The balance was over $3K...

I asked if she wanted me to review her bill to see if we could cut it down as she may have gone over blah, blah, blah and she said no, she knows what she did and just wants to pay it.

I must be dreaming. She was very pleasant...she didnt scream or yell or even sound stern...The only reason i had to take the payment was because agents can only accept $1500 or less...

That was incredibly awkward for me...

If this guy says "$h1t" one more time I am going to slap him into next Thursday.

The problem is that he is either from an Arabian country or from India and has a weak grasp of the English Language and I don't think he realizes how offensive the word is.

This customer

has a 2 lines of service, but not on a family talk plan. Same account though. She wants to cancel one line of service, but wants us to either give the rollover minutes to the other account or credit back the month to her.

What should I tell her?

Anyone else have worthless employees? (long rant)

So my new manager hires two guys...they have been here for about a month now and then my manager leaves town for a week and half. One of the guys in atleast 30 minutes late every day (sometimes over an hour!). So I am running around getting my stuff done this morning and one of them calls me and tells me he cant come in. FINE! I go in a little early because I need to get phones out and the late guy is not wearing a tie and tells me that he has to leave early today! He lost his car keys at a club last night and has to get handle it! After telling me this he wonders off for 20 minutes not telling me where he went or anything. Walmart produces the scum of the earth

I just had a jackarse bring in a Walmart T-mobile prepay phone to my VZW store. He wanted me to activate it on VZW contract service. I explained that it couldn't be done and he called me a liar. He said "The government REQUIRES you to activate this any GD way I want". I looked at him and told him if he could figure out how to make my system do it, he was more than welcome. He said "I don't know nuthin bout computers stuff". I replied with "Then please believe me when I say that what you are asking for is impossible. If you knew about some secret way to do it and would share it with me, I'd try, but you just admitted that you don't know ANYTHING about how these systems work. I just sold a phone to a guy that is so drunk he can hardly talk! Good stuff! Looking around like someone is watching and wont pull out any money if there are any other customers around! He bought a crap load of stuff though so GO ME! ๐Ÿ˜

VZW call center reps...

I just had a customer yesterday tell me that a rep from Pennsylvania (way out of any region I have access to) promised "in a taped conversation" that they would make sure his son didn't run his bill over $200 in a month. He also claims that they promised to suspend his service and call him if he hit that point.

I didn't even talk to the guy. Being indirect and far away from Pennsylvania, I just handed him the customer service number and told him that I would not be able to discuss any issues with him any further.

He turned around telling me he was going to sue my company because I now participated in his dealings. I simply handed him a business card and highlighted our corporate office number.

The guy is obviously a complet...

A crazy woman just called up. This by itself isn't the crazy part, but she calls up all the time!

C:"My phone just turned on by itself. Why?"

M:"I don't know."

C:"Okay."

I just had this guy...

...who came in asking for his free upgrade. He's only had his phone for 6 months.

1. He's changed his phone number 18 times in 6 months.
2. He has over $1000 that's 90 days or more past due.
3. He says he has no money
4. He smells like pee

This guy is a real winner.

I explained to him that he couldn't get a "free upgrade" for another 14 months. He could get a discounted upgrade after another 6, but he would have to pay the past due balance before he could do any changes. His account is suspended for non-pay, so he can't even change the calling plan. He's complaining about the cost of his bill saying it needs to be lowered. He's on a $39.99 450 min. plan and talking well over 1300 min. per month. He kept asking if we...

i almost quit today.

I have never been so pissed off in my life.

To start with, I'm the only person that works this store. Everyone quit. I was supposed to get paid YESTERDAY, I never filled out a W2 tax form, yet they take 40% of my check to cover taxes. I have the FLU, but I still have to work, and I just had an old lady cuss me out because she didn't know that when you buy a prepaid card you have to ADD THE MINUTES. and as sick and tired as I am right now, I told her to stop with her attitude or I wasn't going to do a D@MN thing for her. Seriously, what the hell is it with people not understanding verizon treats an aircard JUST LIKE A CELL PHONE.

Our return policy is 15 days, 30 days for test drive.

YOU MAY NOT RETURN YOUR AIRCARD AFTER 6 MONTHS BECAUSE YOU BOUGHT A NEW COMPUTER THAT HAS AN EXPRESS SLOT!!!!!!!! ๐Ÿ‘ฟ

Seriously, You should have considered the fact that your aircard is not eligible for upgrade in your purchasing decision. Calling me a conman is not going to help you. You signed a contract. I will never understand...

Why you don't have the money to pay your $120 4 line family share plan phone bill, and have been disconnected for non-paymen of that amount. But you have the money to switch companies, buy all new phones, pay activation fee's, early termination fee's with us, and the new prorated bill amount of roughly $200+ for setting up new service in the middle of that companie's bill cycle. All because we "voided the contract" by shutting you off before your 2 years were up because you didn't pay?

I just don't understand. Please almighty customers! Explain to me, I WANT to understand!!! ๐Ÿ™„

Okay so i used to be in the wireless industry until I moved out of Ohio and to Colorado, where I now talk to Mortgage Brokers all day long.....

They are my customers and they are just the same if not worst than wireless customers...

I work for a commercial real estate lender and I invite them to come to our seminars to learn about us - we offer great rewards as well as commission....

Well with the fall with residential and the rise of commercial being steady and strong, I would think the brokers would be interested in at least learning before they go out of business and become bankrupt!

Nope, they are freaking A$$ Holes! They think they are know-it-alls and that everyone should kiss their feet!
