Good News, Bad News...

So we have a new CEO of our company and he has decided that he doesn't like how "ghetto" the stores are, so everything is going to be repainted, all of the graffiti is going to be gone, etc. My manager told us yesterday that the stores are going to be responsible for painting the floors, themselves! The bad part about all of this is... the graffiti we have on our wall has a girl with a really big booty... (ok gross, I know), but it gives comic relief on those days that you really need it... little kids come in (especially little boys) with their parents and put their hands on this giant booty and look at it like its God himself! Ok, I know, I didn't make much sense, but give me a break, I'm bored outta my mind!

Indirect Dealers Don't know ANYTHING!

They don't know how to do the simplest things! ๐Ÿ™„ And we have this one guy in the next town over that is just a royal pain in the arse! He's committing fraud all over the place, giving out false phone prices to customers (then they come to us saying, "how come its only $70 here, but its $105 in the next town over?) Gee, let me think. There was some rumor about this guy being fired over a year ago, and it still hasn't happened. WHY NOT!?

Which is it?

Is it the mobile solution or mobile solutions? I know they are a hate and shady company. The other day I drove by one of the indirects by my COR store and finally noticed the name. It was mobile solutions. We've had problems with them in the past giving customers wrong info and sending them to us. Though we haven't had any issues in a while with them. So I hope its not the infamous company and just one with a similar name.

LAST DAY

So today is the last day I have in this business. So good luck to all of you on hitting numbers and dealing with those customers that we swear wear a special helmet.

Just to clear up a few things I love this field and the way it operates. Just had to get out due to well. Upper management was a real hassle. Wouldn't recommend this company to the birds.

Just thought I would drop in and say take it easy and you guys are awesome.

I work as an authorized agent and a customer of mine bought a blackberry curve yesterday and something.... well odd and horrible happened to it. Is there anything I can do for her to get her the same phone at a not too bad price? Any suggestions?

Mr. Customer,

We appreciate you bringing in your Treo today for repairs. Unfortunately:

1- it's cosmetic damage. nothing is effecting any function of the phone, it's just ugly.

2- it is evident that this was activated three days ago on your account. that's odd considering it's been inactive for months and was in another state and is three years old...

If I had just the plastic housing, I'd just replace that part, but it's not a part we have. Nice try on getting a freebie exchange on a cheap phone you bought on ebay or from a "friend," though.

and they just walk right by and dont say a word...or even worse look right at you saying it and keep going...im like "man i wish i owned this store....b/c i would tazer your ass" haha...na...but really i hate it b/c i greet EVERYONE and its just annoying when they walk by acting like they dont hear you....i work on a military base...i FOR SURE know you speak english

Employee appreciation day

Instead of a day off, or a trip to a casino or ball game, how about they let us say whatever we want to the customers and not get in trouble for it? It would have to be justified of course I think it would look bad if we just went up to a random customer and said f you. But the really bad ones, the regulars that come in all the time just to complain and like to get under your skin but you are just too damn nice and bite our lip every time. Or maybe it can be directed at the never ending supply of idiots that grace us with their presence everyday. What would we all say?

Me: Thank you for calling VZW how may I help you?
Cust: Do you have the number for insurance?
Me: Yes, it's 1-888..

Shady Indirect

So yesterday I had this guy come in who has one line with us and was suppose to have a prepaid with us. He went to the indirect upstairs in our mall and told the guy he wants a prepaid phone with a 1000mins to use when he is in Vegas. So the rep said that the best way is to get flexpay month to month with a 1000 mins. He specifically told the rep that he did not want a contract. The rep said no problem and that he was going to put a fake social security number in because that is how they didn't have to do the contract. The rep gave the customer the first page of the contract but not the other 5 pages. He never had the customer sign anything or went over anything. The rep told the customer it was going to be $80.00. The customer was go...

ON CNN

I was just informed that on CNN in our break room there was a story that stated if people text message alot that this is a sign of mental illness and these people have a tendancy to lie, they get emotional and anrgy very easily, and could be a sign of obsessive compulsive disorder(OCD)...

I thought this was funny in an instance where a customer calls in b/c of overage on their text we can deny them and refer them to their local psychologist....

Yes, I need your ID, and no, it's not just for the heck of it.

It chaps my a$$ when customers get all uppity about needing their ID to run a check. I need it FOR YOUR PROTECTION. I'm willing to bet that if some random person found your checkbook and decided to use it, you'd be livid if I DIDN'T ask for their ID, right? Right. So calm your stupid face, and just give me your ID. How hard is that? This interaction just happened:

M: Welcome to Sprint, how can I help you today?

C: I need to pay a bill. The number is bla bla bla...

M: Okay, now all I need is an ID to run the check.

C: What? I pay my bill here all the time and I've never needed an ID before.

M: We all ask for ID whenever we run a check because the physical machine we use asks for the ID number.

C: Well the other girl helped ...

AHHH DO WE ALWAYS GIVE OUT $(RANT long)

OK i had this escalation that i had to take today that the customer was upset b/c at my company when you get an insurance replacement if you still have the phone you have to return it otherwise there is a charge of 200.00 billed to the acct. the cust was billed for this and called in saying he was promised he would get his 200 bucks and he never got it and he even doubled the call and asked for my manager when he was finally agreeing to be placed on hold he hung up then called back saying that i hung up on him.. then not to top it off he talked to our account services (which is our cancellations) who in return DENIED him again even their sup denied him b/c he had already received the credit all the way back in October for this phone that wa...

They told you the phone had what?

Had a customer come in and say ATT told him about a construction grade ruggedized phone by Motorola that has 10 days straight talk time, and 20 days standby. ๐Ÿ˜ณ At first I thought the customer was yankin my chain, until I called over to the store across the street for giggles, to find the rep who answered told me the same thing.

Now, I don't know anything about anything when it comes to ATT phones, that ain't my market. But.... Which phone is this, and what does it run off of, a car battery?
