I hate that...especially when you know the person (not real well, but enough were they should at least acknowledge you).

...Makes me feel stupid...Then angry....I wish stabbing people in the throat was socially acceptable. 😈

Every Monday my store would simply be a death-spike trap floor for each customer who walked through the door.

Hours: 10-7, stop on by.

ha a funny is that in my store they had to pull a piece of carpet up for something and replace it another patch of carpet and is very noticeable. when someone asks about it, i just say its the trap door for all the mean customers and i put my hand on the item/price scanner and give it a tug like thats the lever for the door 🙂

Yuck, even thinking about this reminds me of when I used to sell cars. I guess it never really bothered me in wireless because:

1) Our store is so small that a customer would feel awkward ignoring us, we're pretty much right in their face as soon as they walk in.

2) It happens infinately less frequently than it did selling cars.

I actually left the auto industry because I couldn't stand being hated before I even opened my mouth. I mean, people would actually SCAMPER away when they saw me coming. I understand the stigma. You know, the "used car salesman" thing. Except I sold NEW cars, and I never, EVER used a pressure sales tactic. I just learned everything I could about the cars, and shared my knowledge. If you wanna buy it, GREAT...

I think the issue really is that they don't feel like listening to a sale story to try to get them to buy something. I AM NOT ACCUSING YOU OF DOING THIS. You just are trying to be polite and say hello. However, majority of people are used to being barraged by people who just seem to want to say 'hello' and then sell them something they don't want. I base this on my own experience walking past mall stores and kiosks, where the agents seem friendly, and they'll look at you, say 'Hi' and when you respond, they always ask what kind of phone you have and start going into the sales pitch. It's not just Cellphone stores though. It's kiosks and stores for people who sell perfumes (bleh, stinky garbage) sunglasses, movies, clothes, whatever. During t...

I play enough guitar hero that I feel like I should just spend those hours learning to play a REAL guitar, 'cause it'll be a hell of a lot more rewarding in the long run...

I've played guitar a bit here and there, never very well. I feel like it's an instrument you definitely have to commit to if you want to get anywhere with it.

How long have you been playing?

I hear people talking about it all the time, about how they finally got past a certain song. To me, I'd rather learn the song on an actual guitar, than on a fake one. That and it's not very accurate to the songs I find. I understand a lot of people love it and all, but give me Mario Strikers, Mega-Man, Ace Combat, or Ikaruga any day.

Oh, I've seen it. The guy I saw got 100%. I have a hard time playing that song on MEDIUM, let alone expert. Frick. I've played the first 4 expert songs, but I think I'm gonna focus on getting all of my hard songs up to 5 stars (which sucks, because it means I'll have to play Barracuda again, and that song seems to stick in my brain like glue).

I used to have a Washburn Bantam 5-string in Black. It was beautiful. That got stolen. đŸ˜ĸ đŸ˜ĸ đŸ˜ĸ For the time being I'm using an old Gibson Epiphone from the 70's. It sucks for metal or rock, but when I just feel like jamming, it's got a sound that can't be beat.

I really, really, really, really want a Warwick Infinity, but I can't spend 3-4 grand on one.

3-4 is nothing lol. The Warwick Thumb is 5-6 thousand easily. I check everywhere I could, and never found the damn thing. I miss it. the neck was all smooth and... well... almost sensual HAHAH. It was a sexy piece of equipment. I hardly ever play anymore since everyone around here is either into Emo or Hardcore, and I can't stand either. I'll play in anything but those 2 types.
