on past dues and payment arrangments...

Somewhere on this forum we've heard of the usual cust asking how much they're past due is and flipping out when you tell them they cant pay 20% of the past due still restore service.

well, this cust was kinda unique..

me- thanks for calling spring finance how can i help you..

cust- hi, this is ( mr. cheapo)the acct is under ________ and heres the pw.. how much would be the minimum ammount that "I" need to pay to restore service.

me- (checks and state accts past due)

cust- oh yeah, i totally forgot about that.. listen, my moms going to pay this tommorow, is there anyway you can restore services today..

this totally blew me off, he just asked at the beggining how much "He" needs to pay. giving me the impression he is goi...

Commission/Inventory question

So there's an issue that comes up with my company that frequently pisses me off. Here's the situation.

Store A doesn't have phone X in stock. Store B does have phone X in stock. Store A calls Store B and has phone X transferred (electronically) to Store A. Store A sells phone X to the customer, and then sends the customer to Store B to pick up phone X.

Here's my problem with this. We're all commission based. Our system has no means of "sharing" commission between two reps either, its all or nothing. I feel that the store that actually has the device in stock should be profitting off it, not the store that didn't order their inventory according to their needs.

Do you agree, or disagree?

Online with VW Episode 4: Say What?

My inspiration for this piece came in the form of a customer last week. She came in to pay her bill and kept rambling on about nothing. Complaining about something that she was "possibly" charged for and no one gave her a credit. At the end of the transaction she just said thank you and left. Of course when I'm online with VW, I like to push it to the limit! LOL Enjoy!

The reason why I hate everything... (long)

Because I'm tired. I'm just tired. I'm tired of the stupid, lazy people EVERYWHERE. It wasn't always like this. I remember when I was younger, we used to be able to go out and enjoy ourselves at the bar or to a movie. I actually enjoyed work... but now.. there's scumbags and idiots everywhere. Maybe it's just me? Maybe My "What The F***!?!?" meter is just run out, and I can't deal with stuff anymore. It's everything. Pick a subject and there's stuff I hate about it. Anybody jump from VZW to AT&T?

Hey all,
I've just posted my resume to the nice folks at At&t corporate for a local store. Anyone make the jump from the big V to the big orange globe? Just curious. I'm hoping these folks call as quickly as the folks at VZW did two years ago.

Oddities for the win!

I had a customer call in today, she has TEP (I work for Sprint). She states she was told by Asurion that TEP does not cover Palm Treo's. I've never heard of such a thing in my entire time working here. As far as I know, TEP will cover any device the customer has, up to and including Blackberries..

Anyone else ever heard of something crazy like this? I assured the woman that her TEP does cover her Palm Treo, but, wierd.

sprint only thank you ....... We have a spot open for csat and they plan on making my sup temp but the thing is the person who will be my temp sup is a complete idiot heeelllpppp.
this "temp" sup has no idea how to fix a 1012 or rest a vision password !

we all know the deal about cpni...do you guys have to use driver's license verification before getting into an account?

we can't get into an account with the account holder having their driver's license present...just wondered if it was the same with you guys.
