What do you do...

...when faced with a system that pays you mainly on how your customer grades you? How do you honestly control that? I mean sure, you can be as nice and corgial (*sp) as possible. However, it is STILL a game of chance when it comes to being graded. Especially when it's based on whether or not they understand the grading system. ๐Ÿ˜ก How is that even remotely fair? ๐Ÿคจ

1 day at a time

I have one for you, would like to know what you all would do... I was accused of transferring inappropriate( not sure what is considered inappropriate or unprofessional according to my employer) data from my phone. can't be proven cuz it never happened. I even gave them permission to pull my text MSG. files, I have been suspended and honestly at this point hope my wireless employer will terminate me on one hand to just be done with it, and on the other I want to stick around to just get their goat. I mean where does something like this come from? Why would my employer take the word of a looser that has nothing better to do then lie, and then punish me for something that never occurred. ๐Ÿ˜ˆ ๐Ÿ‘ฟ

"you have iphone?"

NO! i'm VERIZON. say it with me now VER-I-ZON

i had like 10 people today ask for the iphone, all of them were foreign and had strong accents.

i'm not racist or anything, but why are all these foreign people coming to verizon, asking for the iphone and getting pissed when i tell them we dont have it????

get a clue buddy. chances are you dont want it to activate on att so you should be smart enough to know they are the only ones who have it.

that's what co-workers are for...

so today-through some cosmic coincedence-i got to work with a co-worker that i haven't worked with in ages...
we sat in the store for 3 hours without a single customer so she says to me: "i wish we could watch youtube or something"

to which i reply: "i could go home and get my laptop"

fast forward 20 minutes to us in the breakroom moving my laptop around to various places (including the bathroom) to find a strong enough wifi signal to watch youtube...finally we settle into a good spot on the lunch table...where we find this video:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pod4jIKT_kA »

cue us dying laughing for about ten minutes...

then we watched clips from the office for like an hour...

still not a single customer...not even a complain...

Tried to flipswap

Get ready to laugh.... I had a customer try and fipswap a motorola microtac 650. It still is in great condition and has the old company name. Yeah for moto in the 90's!

does it strike anyone else as incredibly frustrating

that my company gives us $10 gift cards to hand out, which WE then eat the commission for? not the person who gave the customer the gift card. that gift card money comes directly out of the pocket of whichever unwitting salesperson made the mistake of taking that sale. On some items, with our pay structure, this means getting NO commish for the sale.

I hate this company sometimes.

Hey, ranters...!

Reading all these threads, I'm curious... does anyone ever rant about a coworker, customer, department, what have you - only to find that the person you're ranting about is on PhoneScoop?

Better yet, have you ever actually contacted a customer - whether or not they asked you to - outside of work?

Costco Employees

Stop sending your pissed off customers to me since I can't help them either. I am an indirect location just like you and I hate pissing of the customers even more. The closeste COR store is in Auburn.

Verizon Warranty questions..

For those who are in the back office making these kinds of calls.

Correct me if I am wrong, but wasn't there at one point a policy that stated if you had issues with the same model phone after three or four warranty replacements (with in a certain time period?) that you could get a different model phone of equal or lesser value?

My friend is now on his seventh BB Pearl (I told him he would regret buying it), and CS told him the best they could do was offer him a new phone at the two year Activation price.

Whats up with that?

PS I know, he knows, and the world knows that the BB Pearl is a POS. So lets save us all the trouble of the "ZOMGWTFBBQ lrn2phnbuy nub BB P34rls 4r3 th3 sux0rzzz" posts.

My coworker has a "little black book" of his female customers! WTF?

So this fairly attractive female customer comes into the store the other day, and when my coworker is done assisting her he busts out this little notebook looking thing and starts writing stuff down. I am curious for some reason and I ask him what he was writing. He proceeds to show me the book and explain that after every female customer that he finds attractive, he writes them down in his book (name & number), grades them (A-F, would they really be an "F" if he found them to be attractive?) and has even contacted them to see "what was up with them." I was thoroughly stunned by this and actually thought it was kinda funny. But damn, I'm thinking about the ramifications that could happen if he was ever caught doing this practice. Can yo...

Question for VZW Indirect reps...

On a couple of occasions including today, while trying to get into a customers account through eRoes, I've gotten the following message

75782:Service:CustomerInquiry is not authorized to be used by client: VZW-NETACE

When that message pops up i can't continue any further with eRoes. So i have to send the customer to the Corporate VZW location down the street.

What the hell does that message mean?

Sir, I'm afraid that isn't one of our order numbers.

I actually could not help but start laughing. Customer calls in wanting to track an order. I say "I can certainly help you with that. Can I get your order number please?" He gives it to me, it's not one of ours. I go on the tracking site we have for our third party vendors that sometimes work, enter it there along with his last name.

Third Party Tracker brings up an order... through the web site Cellular Nation... for AT&T.

My friend next to me busts out laughing, I can't help but laugh as I"m telling him to call Cellular Nation, I had to mute myself.

Get me outta here...

I've been here for less than 6 minutes and I'm ready to go home. ๐Ÿ˜ณ

I'm talking to a customer that suddenly doesn't seem to understand a computer even thought they're halfway through an order. They're putting in credit card information and asking me how many phones they're getting. That's nearly as bad as the three or four customers I've gotten that have asked if they can pay with cash online. ๐Ÿคจ And this one who just asked how much it would cost to use the camera on their phone.

I forgot the blanket I was going to sit outside on during my lunch break, and I forgot my book. At least I charged my iPod.
